About You by Trudy Van Zyl Stylist,professional makeup artist for photographic & TV. Wardrobe de-clutter and overhaul, personal shopping. Bridal beauty, makeovers.

We work nationally and internationally by arrangement. Trudy’s passion is helping New Zealand women and men look their best. Her 35 years of experience in make up artistry and as a fashion stylist, coupled with working on both sides of the camera give her a unique point of difference. Trudy has worked in the makeup department at T.V N.Z (including work for New Zealands favourite drama, Shortland Steet) and has worked for TV3, Prime and private companies with many commercials, magazines and photo shoots. Trudy has also worked as fashion model modelled in numerous magazines, t.v commercials, photographic work and fashion shoots working in New Zealand and abroad. Trudy has a natural eye for style and colour, a relaxed calm approach and a genuine desire to help others reach their full potential, this adds up to a winning combination for her clients. Trudy is trained in professional makeup artistry, colour and image consulting and has trained in Fashion Feng Shui - 'dressing with intention'. Trudy also has an interest in Holistic wellness. She is trained in Aura-Soma colour therapy foundation level and teacher level third degree reiki.

I am grateful to Indigo Wedding planners for inviting me to create Emma's stunning bridal hairstyle on Waiheke Island yesterday. Loved Emmas choice of old Hollywood glamour for her hairstyle. It paired beautifully with Charlotte Edwards' gorgeous bridal makeup. I enjoyed meeting Emma's family and styling her mother's hair, as well as adding flowers to her adorable daughter's hair.
