Epic first few months of 2023.

First we dust off the cobwebs(holiday-ness), then the routine kicks into place. Now we start smashing out the goals.

My not so secret, secret to continually getting back up, coming back from adversity and striving to be better than before!

This is hard ... SMILE
I am struggling ... SMILE
I feel overwhelmed ... SMILE
I want to stop ... SMILE
I'm nervous & scared ... SMILE
I can't do this ... SMILE & STAND TALL!

What's my secret? ... BODY LANGUAGE!

How you hold yourself, how you carry yourself can positively or negatively affect performance outcomes in sport work and everyday life. So when I find things tough, when I feel the want to back away a simple SMILE reminds me to STAND TALL & LEAN INTO THE UNCOMFORTABLE, embrace the challenge and keep actions condusive to the situation at hand. It's all about keeping that compass needle pointing in the right direction. Even if it feels like I am not killing it right now, I know with consistency of effort my future self will thank me.

I like to think fitness was achieved over the weekend 🏊‍♀️🤸‍♀️🏋️‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️

Qualifiers were done back in December and our team qualified in the top 8 which meant a weekend of fun with friends in good ol’ Palmerston North for the Nz CrossFit Team Nationals.

6th consecutive year doing it, and finally snuck away with a piece of silverware 🥈😊.

Now time to rest up and get to prepping for the Open!

Last weekend of competition fitness for 2021 💥

Never expected to have to do so many online competitions this year, but it is what it is.

Grateful for my team, my body, and all the goodvibes ✨and pulling a 155kg deadlift when I haven’t deadlifted in 12months 🙈

Bring on finals weekend in January (in person 🤞)

The month of December is nearly 10% of the year.

There is still 5% of the whole year left.

Yet some people still decide to pretty much ‘take it off’.

Your goals don’t take a break and become meaningless in December.

People who achieve their goals don’t take December off.

Sure, they still enjoy Christmas and New year with friends and family but they don’t throw the towel in completely.

We promise you.

Make time for your training.

Make time to organise your meals.

Make time for your goals.

Don’t wait until the new year to start again.

Happy Monday + Hello Auckland….
Just a quick post as we have an additional trainer on board(he is my other half😊) who is opening up a few spaces for 1:1 or group Personal Training sessions.

We will be operating out of two locations-
from 562 Richmond Road, Grey Lynn.

Jack will be at BB HQ 26 Norwich St, Eden Terrace.

If you are interested in starting sessions, finding some accountability for you health and fitness (online for now💁‍♀️) then slide into the DM’s.

We bring over 15yrs of experience between us, whether it be for strength and conditioning, gymnastics, Olympic lifting or HIIT, we have you covered.
