November marks Diabetes Action Month 💪
This year, we’re shining a light on diabetes in our tamariki and rangatahi.
More young people in Aotearoa are being diagnosed with both type 1 and type 2 diabetes – and the numbers are rising fast.
By learning the signs and symptoms early, we can help whānau, schools, communities and health professionals take action sooner. Early diagnosis means better outcomes and healthier futures.
