What a night at Sky Stadium.

Last Friday, Pacific Health Plus was proud to be present at the Hurricanes match, connecting with our community in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

As a Pacific-led general practice and the only Pacific-led GP practice in the central region, showing up for our communities is something we take seriously. Being visible beyond the clinic walls strengthens connection, trust and wellbeing.

Families, young people and friendly faces — the energy on the night was something special and a reminder of why we do what we do. Meeting needs and changing lives starts with being present.

It was also a reminder that strong communities look out for one another and celebrate safely together.

A sincere thank you to everyone who stopped by to connect with us. It was a privilege to be present with our communities and share in the positive spirit of the evening.

We're seeing increased measles cases across New Zealand. If you're unsure about your MMR vaccination status, now's the time to check. Those who need the vaccine include: children (2 doses at 12-15 months and 4-6 years), adults born after 1969 without proof of immunity, healthcare workers, and anyone travelling internationally. Measles is highly contagious and can lead to serious complications. Protect yourself and your whānau, please check your vaccination status or get vaccinated to protect yourself and everyone around you. Let's keep our community safe together.
