I’m Tamar, a New Zealand Independent Scentsy Consultant helping people in both Australia (AU) & New Zealand (NZ) find the perfect way to scent their lives. Normally I would say, just their house, but it is far beyond that. Your car, office, camper, washing pretty much anything.
I am a Mum and Scentsy lover. I have 3 kids, a husband and a dog. A very big, smelly dog. Until I started using Scentsy products my house did not smell terribly appealing between the dog and toilet training kids. But now, I have a whole heap of solutions!
Scentsy wax and warmers are a fabulous replacement for candles. It is like having the scented wax without the risk of the flame. Our warmers are electric and low temperature so there is no risk of burns. Our waxes are made from a food grade paraffin wax and because they are only warmed and not burned, the fragrance is the only thing that is released in the air. The wax does not evaporate. When the fragrance runs out, you change the wax.
When I was a teenager I had a huge candle collection. But when I had kids, the risk of them getting burnt or the potential of inhaling toxins made me give most of them away. So I made do with air fresheners and reed diffusers (which turned out to be just as bad by being spilt etc) until I discovered Scentsy. And it makes me happy. Each new scent is like Christmas and I am forever discovering long forgotten memories that are stirred up by different scents. My kids love it too. They love it most when they get to help me open the boxes containing peoples orders, doing deliveries and making samples. It really has become a family business. And with having customers in Australia too - it is becoming a global little home fragrance business. I would never have imagined that my love of candles and things that smelled good would lead me down the path of my own home business where I get to work my own hours, have fun, meet new people, earn an income and FREE incentive trips! I love doing it. It keeps my brain working and I get to use it to support some of my favourite charities (my husband thinks that I probably give away more than I make. He is probably right).

I am based in Papakowhai, but am happy to deliver and host parties and get togethers all around the Wellington region, so whether you are in Porirua, Kapiti, Johnsonville, Tawa, Lower Hutt, Petone, Upper Hutt, Wainuiomata or anywhere in between I would love to help! I have even done parties in Foxton and Levin! I also courier at a very reasonable rate. I do lend out warmers and wax testers so that you can trial and smell the range as well. Please just ask.
I LOVE my scentsy business. I am busy with family life, but I love doing something that is just me. Something that keeps my brain working. I have been back and forward about going back to an office job. But in reality, it is rather expensive to go to work. Between parking/travel costs and childcare eating up most of what would be a part-time income, I needed to find something else. And so I started my own scentsy business. I get to meet lots of new people, introduce them to wonderful products, earn a bit of cash. Oh and incentive trips! All by working when it suits me and my family, as much or as little as I want. Perhaps your story sounds a bit like mine. Or perhaps you want to start something now that could potentially be an exit strategy for the job you do now. I would love to help.
$187 is all it costs to start your own scentsy journey if you buy a kit outright. There is also a way to earn a smaller cheaper kit too. Even if it doesn't work for you, you will have some of our top selling products and every single one of our waxes to try. Not really losing huh? We only regret the things we didn't try.
