Hi,

I hear it often: “That’s not good enough.”

I know it’s not good enough when we don’t have enough doctors to offer the appointments you need.

I know it’s not good enough when no one is free to step in for a sick doctor.

I know it’s not good enough when there’s no locum available so a doctor can take much-needed time off.

Every “not good enough” is an unmet expectation.

Every “not good enough” feels like a cut to my heart.

We are doing our best with what we have, but I share your disappointment that, right now, our best is sometimes still not good enough.

We will keep trying.

As some of you may know, Dr. Lou Sinclair has been on leave for several weeks following a fall. Unfortunately, she will remain off work for the next several months, and we currently do not have a confirmed return-to-work date.

Hi,

August is going to be a tough month.

We will only have the service of 1 doctor on some days.

We may be able to do you prescription request without a doctor's appointment - please send your request via Managed My Health or email to nurse@pukekohesouthdoctors.co.nz

Important information to include -
1) what medication you are wanting
2) where to send the script to
3) how you are doing. For example "I am doing well, no concern and happy with current treatment ..."
4) other info ..

Hi,

I am sure there are GPs living locally that would like to work locally.

We are looking for GP to join our team.

2-3 days per week, flexible day and hour - e.g. 9am to 4pm, 9.30am to 2.30pm etc.

Each hour - 3 x 15 min consult and 1 x 15 min paperwork.
