A big well done to our lovely ward nurse, Mel Murduck, who is currently completing an 8-week health and weight loss programme with Mia 💪🌿
Last week’s challenge theme was “Where there’s a will, there’s a way” — and Mel truly embodied that! Even while on duty, she improvised, stayed committed, and came up with some fantastic ideas to keep herself on track.
What makes it even more special is the incredible support from her colleagues — teamwork at its best ❤️

🎲Franklin wrapped up the year in style with our Casino Royale Year-End Function!

From blackjack and roulette tables to great vibes all around, the night was full of friendly competition and laughter. We kept the energy going with some beats and topped it all off with a round of bingo to end the evening on a high note.

The Fiji Hackers enjoying a great day of golf! ⛳️🇫🇯

As with every Fiji Hackers event, the Annual Charity Golf Bash 2025 was filled with fun, good laughs, and a relaxed gala atmosphere. The course was perfect for everyone — from first-timers to seasoned golfers — with the focus firmly on “giving golf a go” and simply enjoying the day together.

This year, the Fiji Hackers Golf Club is proudly raising funds and awareness for two incredible causes:
✨ Daulomani Safe Home (Fiji)
✨ Ronald McDonald House (NZ)

…while also continuing our ongoing medical outreach initiatives supporting remote communities across Fiji.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Mr Simeon Brown to Franklin Private Hospital today. His visit was a great opportunity to discuss how we can continue improving healthcare services for our community.

Mr Brown met with our CEO, Dr Creasan Reddy, to talk about the growing needs in our region and how better access, advanced technology, and expanded services can support local families.

He was particularly interested in our Hugo RAS Robot—used for General, Gynaecology, and Urology surgeries—and our Mako Robot for precision Hip and Knee joint replacements. These innovations reflect our commitment to improving patient outcomes and recovery.

We’re hopeful that today’s visit will help drive positive changes and stronger healthcare for our community.
