I have trained with the NZ School of Professional Hypnotherapy to be able to guide, support and give you the tools; to reach a place of real confidence and optimism. Though to enable effective and lasting change, and get you in the practise of doing this for yourself - I require a minimum of 3 sessions for us to work together. This isn't something I do to you - I support, guide and help you uncover what it is you need to Stop, Start, Heal or Change. Hypnosis makes it easier to make these changes, as it works with the beliefs deep down. Putting you back in the driver's seat ; I want you to walk away with the tools you need, and a plan of action! Your 1st session involves lots of information gathering so can last for 1½ hours and costs $120. Each session after that tends to last between 50 minutes and 1 hour and costs $90. Stop Smoking is a one off Session for $150

What is Hypnosis? Hypnosis is an amazing experience that for many people gives them a feeling of profound relaxation and peace, though some may experience it a little differently, just like they’re daydreaming. However it doesn’t matter how you experience it, the effect is just as dramatic. This feeling can be likened to a clear meditative space, where you are deeply relaxed, though not asleep but you are totally aware, in control and able to hear everything that goes on. When you are deeply relaxed like this your conscious mind (which is your logic and reasoning, and everything you do consciously) turns right down which means your unconscious mind (where all your memories, habits and behaviours are stored) is open to suggestions. When you are in a hypnotic trance you are in a heightened state of focus and awareness; a state where suggestions appear to go directly into your unconscious mind. The suggestions used offer alternative positive ways to think and also remind your un-conscious mind of how great you will feel when you have got rid of or changed the behaviour you don’t want, and all the benefits it is going to bring to your life when you choose to ‘let go’. You may feel surprised afterwards to find you won’t have to use your willpower to think about stopping or changing a certain behaviour (which requires continual motivation). You will think differently as you have already worked on your unconscious mind. Now you no longer have the belief that was stopping you, so you no longer have the behaviour. What a great feeling when you realise that feeling of wanting and desiring you had, that made you hold on to a certain habit or behaviour – has gone! That is the power of hypnotherapy. Your conscious mind can think of 7-9 things at once, your unconscious….5 million per second!!!! Imagine the power of being able to tap into that. Just so you know……

All hypnosis is self-hypnosis – you choose to use and have fun with your imagination, you choose to allow yourself to relax deeply and you choose to do the work/make the changes. No one can ‘do it’ to you, but I am here to support and guide you… and I know “you can do this!”

Free Guided Meditation - audio - 'Peace of Mind' (see link below)

Hello,
I hope that this post finds you and your family well, and that you are managing to make the most of having more time over ‘Free Up’ (formerly known as ‘Lock Down’ re-named by me. Ha!).
I’ve been wondering for a while why the new buzz word of ‘mindfulness’ - kinda bugs me. Not in a BIG massive, super frustrating, gnashing your teeth way, but in a niggly irritating way.
Then it just clicked. it just doesn’t make sense to me…so I am re-naming that too, to... “Mind -empty-ness’ ha!

Ahhh I love that feeling - of being in the zone, stopping the wheels turning, letting go of worries and concerns and of the ‘should do’s’ list.

When we allow ourselves that clear time - to just be. It’s like taking medicine that makes us calmer and happier.

The other morning I woke up just feeling compelled to record an audio to share, to hopefully help/encourage you to give yourself the daily gift of ‘zoning out/mind-empty-ness’ so you can reconnect to your intuition. You are uniquely you - and I have no doubt that you have everything inside of you to ride ‘this wave’ of life.

These times are challenging. The unknown, the loss of what was and the unfairness of that. But there is a choice that will make all the difference to our happiness and future success.
What we focus on.

‘Free Up’ is a perfect time to start a new daily practise of ‘mind-empty-ness’ or self hypno. It’s been proven that done on a daily basis meditation/hypnosis will make you feel calmer, stronger and more in tune with yourself. From this place you will be able to make better decisions - more aligned to you and not based on fear.

Gratitude is also pretty high on my list at the moment. It balances things out. Here is a fun, short exercise from the master of NLP himself - Anthony Robbins, that had me shouting out loud and laughing! It shows you in an instant (ok in 7mins) how quickly you can feel soooo much better if you change your thoughts.

I don’t obviously know what you are personally going through, what the impact of Covid has had on your livelihood or life. So I apologise now if somehow the lightness of this email offends you. My recording is not perfect (I am unaccustomed to doing recordings unless they are directed to the client I am focused on, and in the zone with) I didn't read from a script - just straight from the heart with a desire to help/support.
