Did you know that each year approximately 3,600 people are diagnosed with breast cancer in Aotearoa?

A regular mammogram can help find breast cancer early - even before you can feel any changes. If you’re aged 45 to 69, you are likely eligible for a free mammogram every two years.

And if you’re aged 70 to 74, you could also qualify under the extended age range!

The afternoon was created as a supportive space for conversation and learning, with a focus on women’s health in midlife and beyond — including perimenopause, menopause, and sexual wellbeing.
