There is a saying "You are what you eat", however what you drink can also have huge health consequences. Drinking the wrong things can undo the benefits of eating right.

For many people too many sugary drinks, sodas, coffees, and alcohol shows up as health problems.

You can nourish your body and support your immune system by adding these nutrient and antioxidant rich teas to your daily routine:

🍋Lemon tea - first thing in the morning can do wonders for your digestion and speed up stomach emptying.
🫚 Ginger tea - great to soothe an upset stomach and support immunity.
🌿 Turmeric tea - a potent anti-inflammatory.
🫖 Green tea - can raise your metabolism and promote fat burning.

A case for our natural immune system being superior to man-made products 🧐😃🌿

COMPARE NUMBER OF COVID INFECTIONS IN UNVACCINATED VS 3 PLUS DOSES....

The graph below is a visual representation of NZ government data, depicting:

number of CASES of Covid 19, by vaccination status per 100,000 population.

All the different vaccine status groups are of different sizes, but once the data is represented per 100,000 of each vaccine status, the differing sizes of the groups no longer confound the data.

What do we see from this graph?

This depicts a five week period in the 5th "wave" of Covid 19 in New Zealand in November 2023.

Each vaccination status is represented by a different colour (key at the bottom)

From left you right (within each week block) you have:
unvaccinated
one dose
two dose
three plus doses

Unvaccinated is the red block
Three plus doses is the towering blue block

Here you can see

1) Extremely low infection rate in unvaccinated
2) extraordinarily high infection rate in the 3 dose plus demographic

Love your gut microbiome and load up on fantastic fibre to make a great start to the day and support:

- blood sugar stability

Ideas to amp breakfast fibre intake:
1. Enjoy cereals - oat, buckwheat or millet porridge, or muesli with fruit for breakfast🍌🥝🫐
2. Add pumpkin, sunflower, chia seeds and nuts to your porridge or cereal for extra fibre oomph 🌻
3. Grind flaxseed, pumpkin and sunflower seeds and almonds and add to your smoothie 🧋
4. Cook a vegetable omelette 🧅🍅🥦🫑
5. Make a quinoa bowl with vegetables 🥗
6. Top sourdough or wholegrain toast with hummus, avocado and sprouts 🍞🥑
7. Chow down on a breakfast burrito with black beans, salsa, corn, avocado and tofu in whole grain tortillas 🥙

Saturday 21 June was the ❄️winter solstice❄️ of the Southern Hemisphere - the longest night in the year. A quiet turning point, when the days start to get longer, even if they get colder over July and August.

There is a certain stillness that comes with winter. It is a season to rest, enjoy cozy fires, hot soups with family, warm baths and early nights snuggled under blankets.

Winter is a time to reflect and review what is working for your wellbeing and what isn't. Sometimes our most powerful insights come when we take time to pause. While nature pauses and rests awaiting a time to spring forth, I hope you will take this opportunity to rest, reflect and renew.

I asked for safety and risk information before vaccinating my babies, but was only given fear that they could die of a vaccine preventable disease.

I wish I'd known their risk for Hep B was practically non-existent given I was not Hep B positive and it is mainly transmissable with sexual contact or sharing drug needles. An unnecessary exposure of toxins like aluminium and formaldehyde for a tiny baby whose immune system is still developing.

FYI – Before widespread use of the HepB vaccine, annually less than 1 in 7,000,000 (or 0.00001%) of children at normal risk of exposure contracted chronic hepatitis B that led to fatal liver cirrhosis or cancer later in life.
