DAY SEVEN OF NAMED WEEK: WELLNESS

Wellness is more than just physical health—it’s about feeling aligned in all areas of life. As a naturopathic principle, wellness acknowledges that everyone’s definition of being healthy is different. True well-being may include:

✨ Having a passion and a sense of purpose
✨ Feeling financially secure and stable
✨ Experiencing physical vitality and resilience
✨ Contributing to your community in a meaningful way
✨ Nurturing strong, supportive relationships

In naturopathy, we recognise that healing is deeply personal. That’s why one of the most important questions we ask is: What does wellness mean to you? Your journey to health should honour your unique needs, goals, and values.

Take a moment today to reflect—what makes you feel truly well? 🌿💛

DAY SIX OF NATMEDWEEK: DISEASE PREVENTION & HEALTH PROMOTION

At the heart of naturopathic medicine is the belief that true wellness comes from being proactive, not just reactive. Instead of waiting for illness to arise, we focus on nurturing the body, mind, and spirit to maintain balance and vitality.

Prevention isn’t about restriction—it’s about empowerment. It’s about understanding the key factors that shape our health, from the food we eat and the way we move to our emotional well-being and daily habits. Small, intentional choices can create a ripple effect, building resilience and long-term wellness.

At Wildflower Wellness, we guide you in recognising what your body needs to thrive, helping you embrace a health-promoting lifestyle that feels natural and sustainable. When we care for ourselves in this way, we cultivate a foundation of well-being that allows us to move through life with more energy, ease, and grace.

How do you support your body in feeling its best each day? Let’s celebrate the little things that make a big difference. ✨

DAY FIVE OF : DOCTOR AS TEACHER

DOCERE – The Naturopath as Educator

One of the core principles of naturopathic medicine is Docere, meaning “Doctor as Teacher.” In every consultation, a naturopath’s role goes beyond providing recommendations—we educate and empower our clients to understand their health on a deeper level.

Through education, we help clients make informed decisions about their well-being, covering key areas such as:
✨ Nutrition – how food fuels healing
✨ Lifestyle – daily habits that support balance
✨ Exercise – movement for vitality
✨ Spiritual well-being – connecting to inner peace
✨ Sleep – the foundation of restoration
✨ Stress management – tools for resilience

When clients understand why certain choices impact their health, they feel more in control of their journey. Knowledge is power, and our goal is to guide, support, and empower you to take charge of your well-being with confidence.

Have you ever learned something about your health that completely changed your approach? Let’s talk in the comments! ⬇️

DAY FOUR OF : TREAT THE WHOLE PERSON ✨ Tolle Totum

In naturopathy, we believe that true healing goes beyond just treating symptoms—it’s about understanding the whole person. Every individual is unique, with their own history, lifestyle, and experiences shaping their well-being.

As naturopaths, we take the time to explore the bigger picture—not just what’s happening in the body, but the emotional, environmental, and lifestyle factors that play a role in health. With longer consultation times, we have the space to truly listen, assess underlying causes, and create personalised, holistic plans that align with your way of life.

Healing is not one-size-fits-all. It’s about supporting the body, mind, and spirit together.

DAY THREE | NATMED WEEK
TOLLE CAUSAM – TREAT THE CAUSE

One of the core principles of naturopathic medicine is Tolle Causam — Treat the Cause. Rather than simply masking symptoms, we work to uncover the root causes of illness and imbalance.

True healing begins when we understand why the body is out of balance. A naturopathic approach explores all the factors that may be contributing to your health concerns, including:
• Genetics
• Lifestyle and nutrition
• Social relationships
• Environmental exposures

By supporting the body’s natural healing processes and addressing these underlying causes, we reduce the burden on the body — allowing space for repair, resilience, and long-term wellness.

When we treat the cause, not just the symptoms, the shift in health is often deeper and more sustainable.

It’s NatMed Week — a beautiful reminder of why I love what I do.

One of the core principles of naturopathy is “First, Do No Harm” — meeting each client with care, respect, and a focus on gentle, non-invasive support.

As a qualified Naturopath, Nutritionist, and Medical Herbalist at Wildflower Wellness, my goal is always to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make positive changes at your own pace.

Naturopathy offers natural ways to support your body — through nutrition, herbs, lifestyle, and understanding what your unique body needs to thrive.

I’ll be sharing helpful tips and insights throughout the week as we celebrate natural medicine and the many ways it can support your health journey.

Follow along if you’re curious about gentle, holistic approaches to wellness — I’d love to connect with you.

Welcome to Wildflower Wellness 🌿✨

I’m so excited to introduce Wildflower Wellness, my rebranded space for holistic healing, naturopathy, and nutrition. You may know me as the Raglan Nutritionist & Naturopath, but as my practice has evolved, so has my vision.

Wildflower Wellness reflects my deep passion for women’s health, hormone balance, endometriosis relief, digestive healing, and holistic nourishment—all rooted in nature’s wisdom. Like wildflowers, our bodies thrive when given the right conditions to heal, bloom, and flourish.

For those new here, I’m Nasie, a naturopath and nutritionist specialising in chronic illness, gut health, and feminine wellness. I take a gentle yet powerful approach to healing, blending functional medicine, whole foods, herbal remedies, and lifestyle support to help you feel truly well.

This rebrand isn’t just a new name—it’s a reflection of everything I stand for: slow, intuitive, and deeply personal healing. I’m still based in Raglan, New Zealand, working one-on-one with clients, offering online courses and consultations, and sharing knowledge to help you reclaim your health.

Can’t wait to embark on this next chapter with you! 💛 Follow along for expert insights, practical tools, and a community that supports you every step of the way.
