Introduction

I am deeply passionate about animals and canine behaviour. From my experience as a Vet Nurse, working in the dog training and daycare industries I have found that there is a massive hole in traditional behaviour modification. It struggles t to deal with humans and animals emotions and trauma quickly and effectively.

On a personal level I experienced this myself with my own dog Malcolm. I struggled with his reactivity for 5 years despite seeing four excellent trainers.

What I found was that my emotions and actions were as out of control as his. For example: if I was out walking him, saw another and thought it would approach, then my body would instantly “switch on” and panic.

How could I expect my dog to do well when I wasn't? I also knew that it would take me at least 20 positive experiences before I would be able to relax, believe that he was ok and to start to recondition my mind.
