When taking part in any sporting event or just everyday life activities, an injury can occur, often resulting in significant pain, discomfort, and disruption of normal life. Most injuries are avoidable so we want to share with you some helpful tips which might prevent an injury or prevent an injury worsening for you.
Tip 1: Stay hydrated. Try to average around 2-3L of water per day and keep your tissues and brain sharp and strong. đ§
Tip 2: Get quality sleep. Most adults require around 7-9 hours of sleep to perform at their best. Sleep is also when your body repairs and regenerates. đ¤
Tip 3: Follow a balanced diet to refuel your body . đ
Tip 4: Remain active. Performing daily activities such as walking, biking, running, and resistance training can help you remain strong and protect against injuries. Take it gently, don't overdo it, let your body tell you what you need.đââď¸
Tip 5: Stress management. Managing stress levels is important for psychological and physical health. Stress can be managed via the tips explained above. Add in some breathing exercises, participate in enjoyable activities, and have a rest day every so often. âşď¸
