Mercury and Jupiter square, an inflection point in a story that began with a solar eclipse on September 21 at 21 Virgo. Mercury is choice. Jupiter is vision and the desire to share that vision. A square creates friction. Our choices need to match our vision.

Over the next six months, the energies of the Mercury-ruled Virgo solar eclipse will be the main driver of our experiences. Virgo is about many things, but one of them is precision and attention to detail. And, as an earth sign, Virgo helps us to take practical steps to achieve our visions.

What are our goals? What are we trying to create? This is a day when we really need to be precise, to follow through on our plans, to take our responsibilities seriously if we want to grow.

It's also a day when words and opinions may create friction. Mercury in aspect to Jupiter can be either inspirational or closed minded. Take care in how you communicate.

Another Capricorn Moon day, another day to map out plans and reach for larger goals and achievements. A Capricorn Moon needs structure, commitment. With Saturn in Pisces, however, our commitments need to be in alignment with our spirit as well as our heart.

As I mentioned yesterday, we're in the home stretch of Saturn's time in Pisces. And since Pisces represents the end of the zodiac, larger cycles will be coming to an end and completion over the next four months, until Saturn leaves Pisces on February 13, 2026 and arrives in Aries.

Saturn has a 30-year cycle, taking nearly the entirety of that time to complete one tour of the zodiac. The last time Saturn was in Pisces, for example, was 1994 to the first few months of 1996. Before that, 1964 to early 1967.

As an archetype and energy, Saturn plays a key role in astrology. It helps us to grow and mature, learning the necessary lessons of life so that we may become what we were designed to become. Saturn often marks major life milestones and passages, such as the transition from childhood to adulthood, the start of a major partnership such as a marriage, the birth of children, career achievements, and successes that come with hard work.

So, with the Moon in Saturn-ruled Capricorn today, we need to be mindful of the bigger picture and to take steps towards the positive milestones that we want to build our lives with. Yet, with Saturn coming to the end of its time in Pisces, we're wrapping up big cycles, major chapters in our lives, so that we can prepare for something very new in 2026.
