I have a special wee wirehaired dachshund 6 month old girl available that’s not part of our show team anymore. We will concentrate on her sister and brother and therefore are looking for a suitable home in the South Island, preferably Canterbury or nearby. She’s fully vaccinated, microchipped wormed, nzdogs pedigree papers. Well crate trained , lead trained socialised and toilet trained. All the hard work has been done. It’s been a busy few months. Dalton will be 2 in January and is filling out after his teenage gangly stage. Simon has done very well in the 4 months of showing in NZ, lots of exciting times ahead for the wirehaired dachshund in NZ. Mid January we are expecting little Simon and Gin 🐾🐾 which we are very excited about. Watch out for some cute photos in the next month or so.

Uk CH Stanegate Salvador- Simon had his second and third shows in NZ. We Traveled to pleasant point for a weekend away. Gin accompanied Simon and the weather was cold but luckily not wet. Simon was awarded best in the hound group, intermediate (age class) in the hound group at show 1. Show 2 he won intermediate in the hound group. So from 3 shows he’s had a best of group and 3 intermediate of groups. Very pleased with our results.

Gorgeous Fletcher, is now 7 along with his sister Reign .Such an outgoing kind boy that’s excelled in the show ring and hunt field. We still have a young nephew of his that’s starting to be shown along side the wire dachshund. All our dogs are fully health tested, which is not the same as a vet check! Our vizsla days are slowing down as it’s getting harder for me to do them justice but we haven’t stopped loving or showing just yet. A awesome combination of dog companions having both breeds.
