I got 17 reactions on my recent top post! Thank you all for your continued support. It gives me great feedback as to the type of content that you connect with most. Learning how to befriend my emotions and see them as messengers rather than judging them has been a big part of my personal healing journey. It is the kind of work that never ends. When I stay curious I can access some very interesting information. This week I will be sharing about some new insights for me around my relationship with pain. If you want to stay connected to my content, follow or message me your email address and I will add you to my newsletter list.

What if you don’t lose insight
when you support yourself…

What if you gain it? Deeper understanding of yourself AND more capacity to understand others .

When uncertainty is in the air,
it’s easy for the mind to move ahead
and try to solve everything at once.

This is your reminder:

You don’t have to go there.

Come back to what’s here.
That’s where your peace is.

We don’t lose our emotions when we ignore them…
we lose the information they carry.

Follow along if you’re learning to listen to yourself more.

We respond to notifications on our phones almost instantly.

But the ones inside us? Sometimes we ignore them.

A strong reaction might be trying to tell you something important.
A quiet feeling of ease, warmth, or interest can guide you towards something aligned with your values.

When we notice them with curiosity and compassion, they offer insight.

What might happen if we began seeing these inner notifications not as interruptions…but as invitations.

Facebook recognised me as a consistent reels creator this week!

Not chasing any longer, simply posting when it feels good.

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to pause and watch my reels. I appreciate you.

Anything you would like to hear about?

One of the most memorable questions from my life coach training was this:

“Is a knife good or bad?”

My answer was “it depends how it’s used.”

The same can be said for anger.

For a long time I distanced myself from anger because of how I had seen it used: as a tool for manipulation, control, or getting people to back down.

So I learned to keep the peace instead.

What I understand now is that anger itself isn’t the problem.

Anger is information.

It often arrives when something important to us has been compromised…a value, a boundary, or something we deeply care about.

And within it is a powerful energy that can fuel clarity and constructive action.

Perhaps the question isn’t whether anger is good or bad.

Perhaps the question is how we choose to work with it.

Emotions are messengers, not problems.
Today mine reminded me of my values: compassion and understanding.
Healing begins when we listen to what’s alive in us, not to blame, but to grow awareness. 🌿

Some people move through the world
holding a lot for others.

Listening.
Supporting.
Smoothing things over.
Trying to keep the peace.

And while that care is beautiful, it can also be tiring.

So here’s a gentle Sunday reminder:

You are allowed to pause too.

To take a breath.
To have a moment that isn’t about solving, fixing, or holding it all together.

Sometimes the most supportive thing we can do for others
is tend to ourselves for a while.

When things feel a little unsteady…
slow down.

Take a breath.

Spend a moment with the things
that help you feel grounded:
nature…
quiet…
space to think.

Distraction can help for a while.
But real steadiness requires your presence.
