On the 20th Feb, Gemma & Lara took 4 residents from our Red Beach Village to Ronald McDonald Domain House at Auckland Hospital to do some baking for the families who have family members in hospital. They had a wonderful time baking up a storm!

They said it was lovely to chat with some of the family members going through tough times and to be able to give them some yummy comfort food. Being involved in the community is a really special opportunity to give back.

It was so successful, we intend to make it an annual outing.

Meet Mistral 🐩✨

Mistral is our very handsome Miniature Poodle who has been part of the village since 2023. A true gentleman, he loves nothing more than a trip to Sunflour Café in Orewa for his favourite treat — a doggy fluffy (aka the ultimate puppuccino) ☕🐾

When he’s not out socialising, you’ll find Mistral doing joyful zoomies in the back garden or snoozing on his bed, surrounded by all his favourite toys 🧸💤

Nothing like a Mystery Tour to brighten the week! ☀️

After the storms cleared, we headed off to Snells Beach and Tāwharanui, followed by a tasty lunch at The Rusty Pelican. And of course… ice cream on the way home! 🍦

Several Residents shared how special it was to revisit places they hadn’t seen in years — and how nice it was to simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery.

Our 30 Dec Village BBQ was a huge success — residents cooked up their own favourites while we put on the salads, and Mr Whippy arrived for dessert. 🍦

Meet Rosie 🐶🤍

This little sweetheart is a 7‑year‑old Shih Tzu x Bichon who’s been calling our village home since March 2024. Rosie is as lovely as they come and never misses her daily walks — one of her favourite parts of the day!🐾
