Body Project NZ Movement is what we do everyday, naturally. Do this well and you'll stay strong, healthy and out of All of us live with some sort of pain. I think NEVER!

This pain can vary from serious, constant pain to just a niggle, the kind of pain that is not serious enough to mention but enough to irritate us through the day. Most of us accept this disruption of our lives as normal and put it down to age because, as we all believe, a 30-something year old is not supposed to feel physically the same as a 20 year old, or at the age of 60 you can't expect feel like a 40-year old any more,can we?. So come to think of it, when is a good age to start complaining about age? Age is relative to our ability to move and as Joseph Pilates puts it, "you are only as young as your spine is flexible". The idea of Body Project has been growing for the last 10 years and with it that there is more to strength, health and movement than just working as hard as we can, training as fast as we can, and hoping there will be something to show for all our efforts. We use to have that magic feeling – that state of being where life is easy, where we feel happy, at peace, strong and flexible all at once. So the questions you need to ask yourself are:
1. When did I lose that magic feeling?
2. Why did I lose it?
3. Can I get the magic back again?

The very philosophy of Body Project is to help your body turn back the clock and find its magic again!

AM I SO VULNERABLE.....?

While working on my new program and App I've been doing some deep delving into who I really am and what I want to stand for.

I have even asked friends and clients to write down what they see as my biggest strengths and strongest attributes and to be honest some of the answers truly surprised me.

One of the biggest eye-openers was the realization that I am the only one who can and does make myself vulnerable. My new program Wild Soul Fitness is all about Mental, Physical, and Emotional Strength and Fitness, and all three components don't just happen because one day I decided to be fit and strong. No, everything needs nurturing, practice, understanding, and dedication.

So I've decided to ask myself the question, Am I so vulnerable? In every situation, I normally would feel frustrated or get angry over the smallest things, for instance,

Am I so vulnerable that I get upset over a bed that is not made?
Am I so vulnerable that I get upset over a driver not indicating?
Am I so vulnerable that I get upset over something I would love to buy but can't afford right this moment?

And it's actually quite embarrassing how many times a day I had to ask myself this question.

NOW this is one of the most empowering questions I can ask myself every day.

It completely changed how I react to situations and how I feel about myself at the end of the day.

How do you know which part of you is calling the shots?

* Do you live a life with an unconscious mind lead by a comforable, habitual body? Or

* Do you live a life as a conscious being?
Everyday thinking new thoughts, making conscious desicions...

Every day I see FB and IG posts of people saying, "to have a better life, just think differently ", or " just change the way you experience the situation"

But if it was that easy wouldn't everybody be in a state of constant change and growth?

Well, what those people forget to mention is that it takes focus, training and an utmost willingness to break the habit of being yourself and that my friends can be scary as hell.

We all love to be in control, know the answer to the next question that hasn't been asked yet and ofcourse most of us will fight to the death for our comfort zones..

But I can tell you.. life does not happen in the habitual confort zones ( I know...another cliche)

But can I ask you to give it a try?

It doesn't seem life changing at first but try and take a new route home from work, order something new from the menu, go stand bare feet on the grass when you get home from work... take a slow breath.
