Monday lunchtime classes have kicked off in Term 4. We still have a few places left. Lunchtime pilates is an amazing way to break up your day and allow you a mental pause with some physical movement and mindfulness.

Welcome to The Wellness Warehouse NZ, I’m the founder and lead pilates instructor Cherry.

I come from 33 years as an RN and my love for movement is deeply engrained with over 20 years of history that includes yoga, dance, tai chi, and of course Pilates. I’m also a qualified Meditation Therapy teacher and a Reiki Master, which I infuse into my classes. This extensive background allows versatility in the way I lead classes and enriches my ability to tailor sessions to suit various preferences and levels of expertise. My combined skills allow me to create a space where physical fitness, movement, and mental well-being intertwine seamlessly giving you the best outcomes.

The Wellness Warehouse boasts the most reformer’s in Rotorua meaning you get to attend classes with like-minded individuals and it keeps the cost as affordable as possible.

When you join The Wellness Warehouse whether on the mat or the reformer, there are many benefits to pilates and they’re different for every person but some of the main things include.

Improved posture: Before Pilates, you may find yourself slouching or hunching over. After Pilates, you may notice that your posture has improved and you are standing taller and straighter.

Increased flexibility: Before Pilates, you may struggle to touch your toes or reach certain positions. After Pilates, you may find that your muscles have become more flexible and you are able to move more freely.

Here's what to expect in our classes at The Wellness Warehouse NZ

When you come to the studio you’re met by me greeting you, you’ll find a place whether it's on your pilates mat on the ground or on one of the reformer machines. For your first class, you’ll be introduced to the other people participating and we’ll get straight into it.

Each class follows its own rhythm depending on the style of the class. I keep each class each week interesting by adding in a specific tool such as a dumbbell or a foam roller etc along with customizing each week's movement flow to suit you and the other participants so no matter where you are on your journey you get the workout to suit your fitness level and goals.

We finish the class by doing a range of exercises such as meditation and stretching which helps you to leave the class feeling calm and ready for the rest of your day.
