Zary loved the Katikati Bird Gardens. A cockatoo said 'hello zary'. There was a pesky chicken that kept jumping on him and trying to bully him into giving it food. Then subway for lunch.

Being non verbal Zary can't call out for Mum, so Mum brought Zary a doorbell which is plugged in in the living room. He now pushes a button.
He has had a ding ding bell for years Nona brought for him at the Warehouse he taps, but in the middle of the night when everyone is asleep it can be missed - and he loves his midnight snacks!
With heaps of tunes to drive Mum mental he's enjoying himself.

Him: " I can't believe I just got beaten by a Level 8 player."
Mum: "Actually Zary is non-verbal, disabled, and special needs. He does quite well."
Him: "Oh God. I should end it now." πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Yesterday Zary was driving a car in the games and got out of it to get something.
Another player promptly stole it and drove off.
Zary shot at him.
The guy drove back and ran him over.
Zary blew the car up. πŸ˜‚

Zary can't walk, can't lift his arms, has never run, never driven a car, has never had a friend, can't form sentences verbally, won't ever be a ufc champ - but in Saints Row or other games, he does and has them all. In that world he's the hero, the fighter, the tough guy (or gal depending on the mood). πŸ’₯

It's been a while - Zary has been out and about in the hot weather. He does get sore in his chair after a couple hours but he loves going for walks and on these hot days getting outside and having fun with the hose.
Uncle Matt came to visit. Nona is there half the week helping Zary and Mum, and spending one on one time with Zary. Zary is also finicky about food and will only eat it if mums prepared it. So Nona has to be sneaky.
Update: His birds were not good parents and didnt care for the eggs or chick properly. Mum tried to save one chick but it died a few days later.

Finally at age 18 Zary has been allowed pain relief stronger than panadol by a doctor. He has times of chronic pain and this has been a battle fought for a long time by mum to get him proper pain relief.
That's the thing with disability, you have to fight for everything for your loved one.
But Zary is happy in his new house which is rural with alot of room inside and out.
He stays up till 6am playing xbox alot πŸ™„ he has a character he plays which he calls 'bum crack girl' πŸ˜† he loves zombies, blood and gore and scarey games.
