Grace Stables We work with children who are 'at risk' in our community, using the wonderful healing power of horses. This is open to children from the ages of 5 to 17 years.

We are offering 'at risk' children an opportunity to have some joy and healing in their lives which has been proven can come from horses. Horse therapy has been proven world wide to be incredibly helpful to 'at risk' and troubled people. We provide a lovely rural setting 20 minutes from Rotorua where the children can enjoy the peace and quiet while building a relationship with their appropriately selected horse. Typically a session takes approx. 1 and a half hours and there are warm comfortable facilities where caregivers can make themselves a drink while waiting. We are a faith based programme and therefore offer this opportunity to all children who would benefit without it being unrealistically priced. We hope you bring children along in your care to check us out and see the look on their faces as they respond to our horses.
