It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Murray.
Beloved husband and best friend of Annette.
Much loved and treasured Dad of Dene, Angela, and Natalie.
Loved and respected father-in-law to Kylie and Aaron.
Adored Pop to Nicki, Jimi, Zoe, Baylee, Sieanna, Luke, Stacey, and Jazmyn.
Great-grandfather to Miller and Joey.

Murray, Dad, Pop, Old Fellah, Muz, was a man who filled every room with laughter, kindness, and warmth.

His humour, stories, and generous spirit touched all who had the
privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.

Please join us as we celebrate a life well lived.
A celebration of Murray's Life will be held at Osbornes Funeral Directors Chapel, 197 Old Taupo Road, Rotorua, on Thursday 28 May at 1pm, followed by refreshments at the CT Club, Moncur Drive from 2:30pm.

Nine kids, 84 grandkids, great grandkids and great greats with more on the way.

You are going to be so, so, so missed. Time to have a cigarette with Nan now.

A celebration of his Gypsy life is tomorrow Saturday, 16th May at Osbornes Funeral Directors Chapel, 197 Old Taupo Rd, Rotorua at 10:30 am.

Followed by a private cremation.

This week is Hospice Awareness Week – a time to recognise the incredible care, compassion and support hospice provides to people and their whānau across Aotearoa.

Here in Rotorua, Rotorua Community Hospice plays a deeply important role in our community. Their care is about so much more than end-of-life support. It is connection, comfort, dignity and aroha, wrapping around people and families when they need it most.

Hospice care is free for patients and their whānau, but it is not free to provide. This essential service relies on the support of our community to continue helping people receive the care they need.

We’re sharing this video from Hospice NZ – Living Every Moment to help raise awareness of the powerful ripple effect hospice care has on families, friends, volunteers, staff and the wider community.
