BIDOIS, Jolinda Ruth (née MILBANK)
Treasured daughter of Gorham and Yvonne Milbank passed peacefully at home in Rotorua, 10 April 2026.

Adored wife of Curtis, dearly loved sister of Jared and his wife Lorna, and devoted Godmother to Emmerson. A Registered Psychologist, Social Worker and Mediator, Jolinda lived her life wholly in the service of others, now at peace.

Funeral 10:00am, Tuesday 14 April, Rotorua Baptist Church, 100 Malfroy Road, Rotorua, and then as a group (all welcome) to her husband’s marae in Tauranga where she will be laid to rest: Poutu te Rangi Marae, Pitua Road, Te Puna, Tauranga.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, you consider a donation to Rotorua Community Hospice.

Passed away peacefully in Tauranga Hospital with family and friends by her side on 3rd April 2026.
Much loved wife of Bryan. Loved mother and mother in law of Neil and Emma, John, and Michael (dec). Treasured Granny of Carter, Rosa, William, Spencer, Dylan and Piper. Loved sister of Lita and Raewyn.
Will be sadly missed by all her family, friends and The Auckland Transplant Team.

Jurd, Joseph Richard

Joe passed away on Sunday 29 March in his 84 year.
Loved Partner of Karen, fun uncle of all his nieces and nephews.
A thank you to the caring staff at Bupa Redwoods.

The funeral service for Joe will be held at the Rotorua Methodist Church, 187 Old Taupo Road, Rotorua, on Wednesday 8 April at 1:30pm, followed by private cremation.

GOODWIN, Neil Kenneth (Joe)

Unexpectedly left this life on Friday 27th March 2026.
We are thankful for every moment shared and all the special memories made over the years. His caring influence on our lives will last forever.

Loved and treasured by Phyl (Phyllis Clutterbuck), Letitia and Scott, Ross and Becky and his five cherished grandchildren, Kobe and Cole, Lotte, Belle and Jute.

A celebration and reflection of Neil’s life will be held at 1pm on Wednesday 1st April at Osbornes Funeral Directors Chapel, 197 Old Taupo Road, Rotorua.

Neil will be deeply missed by all his extended family and friends and will be at home until his service.

For 45 years, Osbornes Funeral Directors has had the privilege of serving the Rotorua community.

Over the years, much has changed. Funeral homes are changing hands, rebranding, or moving on.

Through it all, we have remained steady, trusted, and here for Rotorua.

Since opening in February 1981, we have remained committed to the same community, from the same location, with the same focus: genuine care, compassion, and support for the families we serve.

Memorial Night at The ToolShed Paradise Valley Speedway is on this weekend!

Osbornes Funeral Directors is honoured to support this event, which gives the Rotorua community a chance to come together, remember loved ones, and enjoy a great night of racing.

If you are looking for something to do, come along and support the drivers and the Rotorua Speedway Club. It is always a great atmosphere and a special evening for many families.

We hope to see you there on Saturday, racing starts from 7pm.
