The beautiful white sands of Samoa ☀️
As some of you may have known, my family and I were currently supposed to be enjoying this view in person. Due to engineering issues, our flight was turned around on Sunday and diverted back to Auckland and our holiday is no longer happening. However, this does mean theres now heaps of appointments available through to thursday!! This weekend the Silverdale U85 boys are taking on Massey in the championship final. The Art of Osteo has been a proud sponsor of this team for the last couple years and witnessed the hard work the boys put in week after week. After an undefeated season, this team deserve the title but Massey will bring their best so wishing our Silverdale boys all the best for Saturday. We’ll be there cheering you on 🏉 Silverdale United Rugby Club

The Art of Osteo is excited to announce new opening hours! With our little boy starting school some of you may have noticed a change in clinic hours. Opening hours going forward are 9am to 2.15pm Monday to FRIDAY! Although the slightly earlier finish time, the addition of Friday does mean more weekly availability so hopefully shorter wait times for you!

A huge congratulations to Silverdale Under 85kg team for their well deserved win today against Takapuna to take out the title for the season. As one of the minor sponsors of these boys, I can honestly say I’m so proud to have my business on their back. The boys left everything on the field today. They conduct themselves with class, sportsmanship and integrity every week on and off the field. The hard work and commitment the players, coaches, managers and support crew have shown throughout the season has been rewarded today and we couldn’t be more proud of you all

As 2023 is rounding to a close, I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support throughout the year. It is you, my clients, that have made my dream come true to have my own practice and helping you all is why I love my job so much. I wish you all a wonderful Christmas break and great start to 2024.

The Art of Osteo is open for business as normal. Our home and clinic has been extremely fortunate to have obtained no ill-effects from the recent floodings in Auckland however my heart goes out to all of those who have. If anyone has an appointment booked this week but would prefer to reschedule please do not hesitate to get in touch and ill sort a new appointment for you as soon as possible. I am so thankful of your loyalty, support and understanding as we have all had our share of illness this year causing disruption to life and bookings. As a perinatal and paediatric osteo, I have the privilege of being part of many women’s journey into motherhood. For some, this isnt an easy path while others have a road less windy. But to all the incredible mothers out there doing your best, happy mothers day. The biggest thing I have learnt since taking this path myself is every path is different. There is no textbook, what works for your friends or peers may not work or be right for you and gut instinct speaks more than we give credit so trust it.

Today we acknowledge the larger group of mothers; the step mums, the foster mums, the fur baby mums, the waiting to be mums, the mums who have lost or those who have lost mums and recognise the emotions that today can stir. Today we are thinking of you all wherever you are on your journey.
