I am super excited to announce the arrival of a magnificent Paiste Sun Gong at Te Ao Hou. When I first looked at purchasing a Gong I was drawn to the Sun Gong. I love the Sun, no matter what is happening in my life, everything lights up under the warmth and brilliance of the Sun, to me Sun represents life and happiness. The Paiste Sun Gong is said to represent a door from one world into another, the tone helps you to exit from the known, mechanistic and physical world and enter into a new magic world. The tones from this Gong are beautiful, with a rich deepness that compliments the other two Gongs perfectly.
The sound of the Gong modifies the brainwaves, slowing them down so that you can enter into a deeply relaxed or even into a deep sleep state. The benefits to mental and physical health are numerous in these states, allowing the body to de-stress, restore and heal, which is so important for everyone, but becoming more and more difficult to do in today's world.
So come along and join us at Te Ao Hou on Saturday and treat yourself to some gentle yoga followed by a deeply restorative Sound Therapy experience using Gongs, Crystal Bowls and a variety of harmonic instruments.
