💧 LEVEL 2 water restrictions are now in place until further notice

Unfortunately, with Pātea River levels dropping further, we've now moved to level 2 water restrictions until further notice to help protect the health of our river. The restrictions apply to all residential users of the Stratford, Toko, and Midhirst water supplies.

There's now a total ban on the use of:

🔴 All sprinklers, irrigation systems & unattended hoses

🔴 All handheld hoses & water blasters

💧 Under our resource consent, when river levels fall below a certain point, we need to reduce the amount we take for the town supply. Find out more about water restrictions at Stratford.govt.nz/WaterRestrictions

💧 Please save water where you can - every drop helps! See our water saving tips at Stratford.govt.nz/SaveWater
