Back in July, we spoke with Tahmina and her sister, Narmina, over a video call from Azerbaijan. With a friend translating and a few emails traded back and forth, they made an extraordinary choice: to place their trust in us and the Kera hoist to help change their lives.

“The only option was a sling – which she didn’t want.” OT Nikki describes her first scripting of a Kera Travel in Australia and HT engineer Alex O’Keefe shows how it works - including the 45-second pack down.

The Kera Travel was a product developed at request from our clients who wanted to take the same mobility of the Kera Home when they went on holiday. The result is a flight-ready 23kg portable hoist with the same single-carer transfer that requires zero standing strength.
