We are currently experiencing a COVID outbreak in our facility. To help reduce the spread, we kindly ask that you wear a mask when entering the building and only visit if it is absolutely necessary.

This outbreak is significantly impacting both our residents and our staff, making it challenging to maintain adequate shift coverage.

Access to healthcare is one of the biggest concerns for people in rural and remote areas.

That's why our Government has announced the rollout of delivering healthcare closer to home for six rural communities in Golden Bay, Tūrangi, Twizel, Te Kūiti, Coromandel and Great Barrier Island has been completed. This marks the first phase of strengthening urgent and after-hours care across 70 rural locations.

The results from the first six sites show what’s possible when rural providers are supported to design solutions that work for their communities. Our Government is committed to ensuring New Zealanders can get the care they need, when they need it, no matter where they live.
