My reflections as we come to the end of 2025- what have my learnings been this year and what am I most grateful for?
- stay humble, no-one falls faster and harder than from a height of lofty grandeur
- keep life simple - decluttering and shedding the things that no longer serve me (including people)
- that I am actually enough and dont need to prove myself to anyone
- I have learnt so much about tenacity, resilience and courage from the beautiful people I work with every day - what a gift ❤️
- to follow my dreams - they might just come true (and they did)
- to never take my health for granted
- that life can be both beautiful and tragic at the same time

Wishing you all a safe, peaceful and happy holiday with the people that you love ❤️

Just in case you ever need reminding.....

In times of hardship, it's natural to feel overwhelmed and burdened by the weight of challenges. Whether it's the strain of financial struggles, the heaviness of emotional turmoil, the exhaustion of mental health battles, or any other form of adversity, know that you are not alone. In the darkest moments, there is still light to be found, and within you lies the strength to overcome.

In the face of adversity, remember that you are stronger than you know, and you are capable of overcoming any challenge that comes your way. Keep moving forward with courage, and determination, knowing that you are not alone on this journey. Better days are ahead, and with each step you take, you are one step closer to the light at the end of the tunnel.

Let the sun rise,
let it fade the darkness.

But don’t let it be the only reason you move.
Be kind to yourself; let those who demand your time know your boundaries.

If you can simply be, then be.
Take the moments you have to nourish your wairua, allowing that to set the tone that reflects your true self.

Let today be a balance of necessity and what makes you happy.

🌿Your well-being is just as important as those around you. 🌿

This morning I’m reminded of the importance of meaningful connections with others. Not the kind of connections where we talk about our shoes, the weather or gossip about others but the kind of connection where we can be our real authentic self. The kind where we can do the old ‘snot cry’, share our fears hopes and dreams without rejection or judgment. Where we take joy and delight in each other’s company. It can also be as simple as connecting with a stranger on the street where we smile and acknowledge one another. Sometimes we have no understanding of how this can positively impact someone’s day. Just to be seen.
Reconnect with those in your life who are important. Find your tribe, don’t ever be someone you are not with people who don’t value your genuine self. Have a beautiful weekend everyone ❤️❤️

Thought provoking snippet for the day.

Be grateful for our blessings of which there are many – if we choose to see them as blessings 😊

‘Reframing’ our perspectives on life can be a useful way to improve the way we think and feel. Sounds simple enough right? But not easy unless we are aware of our unhelpful thoughts. This takes practice.

Mindfulness is one of the useful ways to develop awareness of our thoughts and feelings but there are many others. All we need to do is find what works for ourselves, and this may not be what works for someone else.
