This January 2025 marks the end of my time with North Shore Hospital Auxiliary. It has been my great pleasure to have served with the team. This page will revert to another user soon. One of our most consistent donors is the Knitting Group at the Poynton. Linda Gately drops off items nearly every week to our rooms which are conveniently located just down the street on Shakespeare Rd. The baby jackets are the most popular as we hand out over 20 to Maternity every week as well as beanies, booties, and small knitted blankets.

Some of our donations come from the hospital when donors drop off items at reception. Eventually we obtain them to store until such time the hospital needs them. This is especially true of the generous donations of baby items. The following is the wonderful donation from Joy Boniface. There will be plenty of of lovely baby items to share with Maternity and Special Care Baby Unit.

As per usual, donations are our foundation for supporting North Shore Hospital. A big thanks go out to Orewa/Whangaparaoa Inner Wheel for their latest spectacular donations of 50 filled toiletry bags complete with all necessaries for an surprise overnight stay at hospital, heaps of lovely knitting including baby items and adult knee rugs and small quilts. A special thank you is for Nancy O'Shea and Jennifer Hacking for delivering these lovely items.
