🌑 Pisces New Moon Wisdom

On March 19 the Moon renews itself in Pisces, the final sign of the zodiac.

Just one day later the Equinox arrives and the Sun moves into Aries, beginning a new astrological year.

This New Moon is the quiet breath before a new beginning.

Pisces carries the wisdom of completion.
It invites us to soften, reflect and release what the past year has held.

In yoga we know that every inhale is followed by an exhale.
Effort must always be balanced with surrender.

This New Moon is that sacred exhale.

A moment for Svādhyāya, self study.

Pause and gently ask yourself
What patterns have I been moving through?
What emotions are ready to be released?
What can I soften my grip on?

Pisces teaches us that life is not always something to push through.
Sometimes it is something to flow with.

Slow down.
Listen inward.
Let the waters settle.

From that stillness, the next chapter naturally begins.

✨ See you on the mat.

Find Contentment in the Pause

In yoga philosophy, one of the Niyamas is Santosha.
It means contentment. A quiet acceptance of this moment exactly as it is.

Not when life is perfect.
Not when everything is finished.
Right now.

Yoga and meditation give us the space to remember this.
A few steady breaths.
A body moving with awareness.
A mind slowly softening.

In practice we discover that contentment isn’t something we chase.
It’s something we uncover when we slow down enough to feel it.

If your mind has been busy, your nervous system tired, or your heart asking for a little more space… come practice with us.

Roll out your mat.
Sit. Breathe. Move.
Return to yourself.

Join us this week at Golden Yogi.

✨ SACRED RESET ✨
Blue Lotus Tea Ceremony & Crystal Bowl Sound Journey

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is pause.

Step into a sacred evening designed to calm the nervous system and gently guide you back to yourself. In a world that moves quickly and asks so much of us, this ceremony is an invitation to slow down, soften and reconnect.

The evening begins with a Blue Lotus tea ritual, a flower revered for centuries for its calming and heart opening qualities. As we share the tea together you will be guided into grounding and presence.

From there we move into a guided meditation journey, allowing the mind to settle and the body to release.

The evening then unfolds into a crystal singing bowl immersion, where pure vibrational tones wash through the body supporting deep relaxation, emotional release and nervous system reset.

This experience is perfect if you feel mentally busy, overwhelmed or simply in need of a sacred pause.

No experience with meditation or sound healing is needed.
Just come as you are.

THE NIYAMAS • THE SECOND LIMB OF YOGA
This Month at Golden Yogi

This month inside the studio, we turn inward.

After exploring the Yamas and how we relate to the world around us, we now soften into the Niyamas, the personal observances. The sacred practices that shape our inner world.

The Niyamas invite us into self responsibility, self reflection, and self devotion.

They are:

✨ Saucha - purity and clarity
✨ Santosha - contentment
✨ Tapas - disciplined effort
✨ Svadhyaya - self study
✨ Ishvara Pranidhana - surrender to something greater

You live the Niyamas every time you choose nourishing thoughts, show up consistently, reflect honestly, and trust the unfolding of your path.

This month in our classes, you may hear these themes woven gently through meditation, breathwork, and movement. Not as something to achieve, but as something to remember.

The Niyamas are not about perfection.
They are about alignment.
They are about coming home to yourself.

Journal prompt for the month:
Where can I show up with greater devotion to myself and the practices that support my growth?

We are not striving.
We are practicing presence, devotion and self awareness.
