Sport Hawke’s Bay is gearing up for Play Bingo Challenge 2025, and we want YOU - the Play Champions of Hawke’s Bay - to help us break down barriers and bring more fun, freedom, and movement to tamariki across our region. 💥

💸 Got a playful idea but no pūtea to make it happen?
The Tū Manawa Quick Release – Play Fund is here to help!
We’re offering up to $500 to support initiatives that remove barriers to play — whether it’s gear, space, transport, or something creative we haven’t thought of yet!
✅ Bonus points if your idea is shaped by the voice of tamariki!

Te Waka Tākaro is a mobile community play trailer, filled with play based equipment, with the purpose of supporting and empowering the community to understand and appreciate play. It aims to create more play opportunities for local rangatahi, enabling authentic learning to take place through free and creative play.

😀 Boccia is for all abilities and ages, it doesn't matter if you want to play socially or championship. You can play every Wednesday afternoon at the Hawke's Bay Cook Islands Community Centre in Flaxmere.

The venue has wheelchair accessible facilities. If you are a BC3 player you will need to bring your own equipment and ramp access please. 👩🏻‍🦽‍➡️🧑🏻‍🦽‍➡️
