What a year 2025 has been ✨

So many early mornings, deep breaths, breakthroughs, laughter, tears, and moments of real transformation.

To all our students — thank you for choosing to train with us, for your courage, commitment, and open hearts. You are the reason we do what we do.

The mat may roll up for the year, but the practice continues… We can’t wait to see where it takes you next.

A week late, but better late than never!

Last week we farewelled our wonderful ladies from the 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training. With a few last-minute cancellations, the group ended up being an intimate trio — and honestly, it was perfect. Everyone had space to be heard, seen, and supported, and we were able to tailor the training to what mattered most to each of them.

It was such a light, easeful, and joyful month. Thank you, ladies, for bringing your beautiful energy and open hearts. We learned, explored, and expanded together in the best possible way.

And tomorrow, we begin again — welcoming our November YTT group. Excited to meet these new souls and start another incredible journey!

Meet your Yoga Teacher Trainers

Steve (E-RYT500, RYT200 Kundalini) has over 20 years of practice and more than 13,000 hours of teaching. He brings a wealth of experience across traditions like Ashtanga, Iyengar, Yin, Hatha, and Power Yoga. His relaxed but thorough style emphasizes functional movement, spinal health, the fascial system, and cultivating body awareness, always offering variations so yoga is accessible for everyone.

Joleen (E-RYT500, Ashtanga Parampara) has been practicing for over 15 years. With her foundation in Mysore-style Ashtanga, she also teaches Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative. Calm, graceful, and nurturing, she empowers her students not just physically, but mentally and emotionally, creating space for growth on and off the mat.

Together, we love creating a supportive and inspiring environment for students to explore, learn, and deepen their practice.

It’s been a week since our wonderful group of teacher trainees graduated and left the cozy sanctuary of our Yogi House in Taupo.

Most of them were international travellers, so it’s been exciting to follow their journeys and see where life has taken them next. New Zealand is such an incredible place to explore post-training — and it’s always a joy to see our graduates adventuring through it!

As for us, we’re preparing to leave Aotearoa for the winter. We’ll be spending most of our time in Malaysia, and in July, Joleen is off to Thailand for a 5-week Ashtanga training — something she’s super excited about!

We’ll be back in New Zealand this October, just in time to host our 300-Hour YTT (13 Oct – 7 Nov 2025). If you’re ready to take your practice and teaching to the next level beyond your 200 hours, get in touch — we still have a few spots left.

Our next 200-Hour Training will run from 17 Nov – 5 Dec 2025, and there’s only one space left! If becoming a teacher is calling out to you, don’t wait too long. That time of year is stunning, with summer just around the corner and long, warm days ahead.
