A big welcome to Sam this week who joins us from the UK. Sam has been working as a physio for 3 years. Prior to moving to New Zealand Sam was working with an elite football club.

He is interested in sports physiotherapy, gym-based rehabilitation, and pediatrics. Techniques Sam likes to use include manual therapy, biomechanical analysis, and correction. When Sam isn’t working you will find him hiking, travelling, reading a good book or engrossed in sport.

Great Lake Physio (led by lead clinicians Colin Hancock and Jenny Reid) provides treatment for rehabilitation and recovery from the full range of injuries. In addition, we work with you to prevent further injury. If you are injured from the sports field, workplace or at school, come see us for evidence based physiotherapy. Our physiotherapists have worked with athletes from all over the region for many years. Colin has been the physio for seven years with our premier rugby team the King Country Rams. Our physiotherapists also have skills in rehabilitation of acute concussion and acute and chronic vertigo.
