Preparing for Level 2.
We hope you and your families and friends are all safe and sound. Our thoughts are with those countries who have been hit harder with this pandemic than ours, and with those in this country who have been more impacted than we personally have been.
It looks like we will be able to operate in person in Level 2. However we continue to coordinate with the Ministry of Health and our professional bodies to confirm this and what this will look like.
Andrew is super excited at the prospect of getting back to work - he needs a holiday from all the painting, cleaning, paving, insulation installing (and eating) he's been doing.
We've been working hard to put systems in place to make the clinic as SAFE as possible for you and for us for when we reopen.
If You Have Cold/Flu Like Symptoms - Stay Home, unfortunately we can not treat you whilst you are symptomatic, or if you are awaiting results of a Covid-19 test.
Social Distancing - we will be operating with 30 minutes between patients so that you don't bump into each other and to allow for sanitizing.
Hand Hygiene - This is still our best defense - there is a sanitizer dispenser on the wall by the clinic entrance, please use it on entering and exiting.
P.P.E. - We have a store of extensive P.P.E. (good little boy scouts are always prepared and Aimee always keeps some in stock for her Animal Rescue work/study). We will be guided by the MOH and our professional bodies but Andrew will be wearing a mask due to the inability to social distance during treatment.
Disinfecting - We have a supply of hospital grade disinfectants which have a 10 min contact time (thus the 30 min gap). Cloth covers have been removed from treatment surfaces to allow disinfecting of vinyl. Used linen will be laundered at high temperatures. We have also installed paywave for contactless payments but surfaces and equipment will be disinfected between patients.
Wanda (and the others) - Cats aren't particularly easy to sanitize, and they don't particularly enjoy it (and Wanda scares us). We ask that you don't pat them at present and Wanda will be banned from the clinic initially.
Bookings - The easiest way for us will be for you to email admin@totalbodytraining.co.nz. Once the government confirms a move to level 2, and that we can open, we will start taking bookings. Alternatively you can phone 378-1849. We are hopeful that we will be a well oiled machine, but do apologise in advance for any teething issues in changing these processes.
