We’re thrilled to announce that the 5th Annual Lifting The Lid International Festival of Death and Dying will be taking place online from 14–16 November 2025 — streaming 24 hours a day across 3 days.

Now in its 5th year, this unique international festival opens up conversations around death & dying through:

🎶 Live music, poetry, film & performance
🌍 A diverse line-up of end-of-life carers, grief supporters, artists, writers, doctors, funeral directors, academics, change makers, and many more.

Lifting the Lid is informative, creative, joyful, fun, and life-affirming — welcoming everyone, whether you’re deeply involved in end-of-life work or simply curious.

This is a free event and we will be discussing cheaper funerals and touching on natural burials.
