Happy New Year Twerkwerk Family!

Welcome to 2026, the year of New Beginnings ✨

There has been so much change happening behind the scenes here at Twerkwerk, and we want to just pause for a moment, acknowledge the changes and recalibrate.

First big news! Our beautiful Twerkwerk Facilitator in Christchurch is now gone 😭. Good news, she’s not dead! She’s just moved on to bigger and better things for herself, and we wish the most amazing journey with all that she’s got lined up for herself. Thank you Brenna for being a crucial part of our Twerkwerk Family, we love you!

Secondly, we are welcoming new life into our Twerkwerk Family! Not with a new facilitator, but rather with a new baby! Our wonderful Auckland facilitator .jaaade is 26 weeks, and will be running her one and only 2026 class in Auckland this month! We wish you all the best in motherhood Jade, and we can’t wait to have the little one Twerking in no time.

Our classes for this month are up! Make sure you get booking, so you don’t miss out.

Twerkwerk is more than a class - it’s a community built on movement, liberation, and belonging. It’s a space where every body is celebrated, every story is welcome, and every shake becomes an act of empowerment.

In Twerkwerk, we move not to perform, but to remember who we are. Each session is a ritual of reclamation, a reminder that healing doesn’t always look still - sometimes it looks like joy, sweat, and a room full of people cheering each other on.

Summer is just around the corner ☀️ and despite the fact we’ve had some horrific weather, we can’t let that give us the blues 😰. We must strive to get up, bend over, and shake that A$$ this month because why!? WE DESERVE IT!

Ever wondered what it looks like to mix Twerk with Breathwork!?

Yeah, neither did we until we tried it… and let us tell you, it’s better than you could imagine 🍑

Some people gym, some people pole, some people run, WE, we TWERKWERK!

With two different style classes, we’ve got you covered if you’re wanting to get fully out of your mind and deeply present in your body… OR, you’re wanting to practically break down some choreographed Twerk moves to a tune.

We are building community together, where this is a safe, brave and non-judgement space to explore your body, and build confidence!

Our September classes are live!

This month there’s no Christchurch class as our wonderful is on holiday 🛬

All September classes are PRIMAL, and if you haven’t experienced PRIMAL yet, think, Slower. Deeper. Juicier.

PRIMAL is a slower-paced, more choreographed Twerkwerk experience. Where each month we drop a new choreographed routine to one of your fave tracks. We slow it all the way down so you can master the details and really feel the flow in your body. Still deeply infused with your Breathwork experience.

These classes since starting have pretty much sold out most times - so get in while you can, as there are limited spaces available.
