Meet Michelle 🌿
Michelle is a caring and reliable person who loves working with children in a safe, positive, and supportive environment. She enjoys spending time outdoors and is often found tramping, camping, or heading to the beach whenever she gets the chance.

Michelle has experience working as a teacher aide in a primary school and has spent the past three years working in a daycare centre, where she supported play-based learning, social development, and communication. As a hands-on parent to two older children (17 and 21), she also brings valuable real-life parenting experience.

Michelle looks forward to building connections and getting to know your children. 💛

She is a proud mum to three amazing girls and brings over five years of experience working as a Teacher Aide, supporting children across a wide range of learning and wellbeing needs. Brooke is passionate about creating environments where children feel safe, supported, and truly valued.

She loves building positive relationships with children and supporting their growth in confidence, independence, and resilience. Whether it’s offering a listening ear, encouragement with learning, or sharing in laughter and successes, Brooke believes every child deserves to feel seen and cared for.

Laura is one of the familiar faces at KCJ After School Care. She’s a busy mum of two awesome children, aged 5 and 7, and loves spending her free time outdoors with her family—camping, biking, and soaking up the sunshine whenever possible. When she’s not outdoors, Laura enjoys heading to the gym for some well-deserved “me time.”

Meet Bahar 👋

Bahar joined the KCJ Education community two years ago and is excited to be working alongside Kylie, Mike, and the wider team again this year. She moved to the beautiful Lakes with her family in 2021 and has loved being part of this wonderful community ever since.

A proud mum of two (aged 9 and 7), Bahar brings over 20 years of teaching experience to KCJ Education. Originally from Turkey, she qualified as a teacher before moving to the UK, where she studied Psychology and completed a Master’s in the Psychology of Education at UCL in London.

Bahar is a strong believer that a child’s wellbeing must always come first in their learning journey. At KCJ’s after-school programme, she helps create a warm, nurturing, home-like environment where tamariki feel safe, connected, and cared for—like one big playdate within a small, supportive group. This approach allows each child to be known as an individual and supported in a way that truly meets their needs.

Bahar is very much looking forward to reconnecting with all the wonderful tamariki this year 💛
