Registered for another year! What does this mean?

As a registered Naturopath I need to be insured and hold a current first aid certificate. I also need to practice in line with a number of rules and regulations. I do this anyway, as I love to learn but there is a requirement regarding the amount of continued education that is required as well 👌🏼

Tell me you are in menopause, without telling me you’re in menopause lol! I no longer have hot flushes or night sweats but I definitely do run a few degrees hotter which can have a big impact on my sleep.
Putting a few measures place to make sure I can have the best sleep possible has been a game changer:
-I sleep with my head next to open window and have a fan running through the night
-Darkness. We have added a block out blind over our slayed blind to insure it is as dark as possible with just a small gap at the bottom to let the breeze in
-I have a short nighttime routine including magnesium, reading, sleepy tea and my shakti may which has me into a deep sleep within minutes.

What have I been up to for the past 5 years you might ask?...... At 43 I decided to leave the business world behind and pursue a career that could support myself and others towards long-lasting health and vitality.
It was an insane ride completing a science based degree (hello anatomy and physiology and pharmacology) while going through menopause. But this learning has enabled me to support other women not only with their symptoms but also with deciding how they want the next stage of life to look.
So here I am. A qualified and registered Naturopath, Medical Herbalist and trained in relaxation massage. I LOVE what I do. Seeing people get their energy and passion back, overcoming insomnia, reducing anxiety or healing long term annoying symptoms. Teaching clients how to eat well-simply and how to take care of their physical and emotional needs is a dream come true.
I have a beautiful clinic space here in Tauranga but am also seeing clients all round NZ via Telehealth. And I don’t just look after women post 40. I have many male clients and younger women as well. I have enjoyed supporting all people with:
Gut Issues
Acne/ skin issues
Poor immunity
Sleep problems
Anxiety/Low mood
Lack of energy
Hormonal imbalances

Sunday. After a busy week in clinic taking care of others, Sunday is for taking care of me.
✅ Slow start
✅ Some household chores ticked off the list to lift my dopamine (love to cross things off a list-Virgo)
✅ Beach and o ran swims hang with my cousin and the pups
✅ Yin yoga to give my body some deep rest
