💚 Kawakawa Balm 💚

Kawakawa is a New Zealand native plant used in Maori culture for its many healing properties.
This balm it is excellent for use on bites and stings, grazes, boils and eczema.
It has a very distinct aroma to it and I have used plants that I have grown on my property, to infuse into the oil for this balm.

Magnesium balm is great for promoting relaxation, reducing stress and tension, improving sleep quality, soothing aching muscles, joints and restless legs.

Ingredients: Olive oil infused with dandelion & chamomile, magnesium chloride flakes, beeswax, shea butter, vitamin E oil and lavender, bergamot, frankincense, ylang ylang & cinnamon bark essential oils.

The process of making my Heal All Balm once the plants have infused into the oil 💚

Melting together the infused olive oil with beeswax, shea butter and vitamin e oil and then once cooled adding the lavender, patchouli & geranium essential oils 💜

My pouring & filming skills need to be worked on! I nearly over poured into one of them 😬 whoops! 😅

Once set, lids on the jars and labels on! 🙌

💜 A new batch of Heal All Balm is underway but it starts with the plants infusing in the olive oil 💜

Self-Heal (Prunella vulgaris, Gallant soldier (Galinsoga parviflora) & dandelion are all collected around my property and dried for use in various ways.
These are combined with olive oil and infused for 48 hours before being made into my Heal All Balm.

Lots of blue sky over Blue Skies Orchard today (with a little bit of frost 🥶). My morning walk was also attended by the dogs and cats who enjoy racing around, especially on these crisp days! Avocado trees just growing their fruit 🥑

These two products were originally just created for myself but I loved them so much I thought I'd make them for others too!

I started with the night balm to help replenish and rejuvenate my (maturing) skin while I slept and then decided I needed a day cream as well.
