Well after almost a year off due to my own personal life challenges I made it back to the gym for a brief all over body workout consisting of cardio, a variety of lunges and some light weighted upper body workouts...A slow but good start. Looking forward to seeing my progress and muscles grow.

When times are tough and your feeling down it can be so hard to get up and do whatever life has in store for us that day let alone going and doing something for ourselves but it is so important to take the time out and do something that is Purley about you and your own self care. No one likes being neglected or mistreated by the people in our lives, but in all honesty we actually neglect ourselves more than anyone or anything in our life could so make sure you put yourself first every now and then and go do whatever it is that is going to fill that cup back up and makes you happy. ☺️

Confession time. I am obsessed with Mike's garlic bread. Can't get enough of it, would even say its better that the restaurants I have been to! Tonight's garlic bread is made of cibatta loaf, garlic butter spring onion, bacon and aoli. Not good for the hips but dam good for the soul!

As for the humans we had, pork chops and salad made of spinach, kale, cucumber, caggage, carrot, red onion, tomato lots of different herbs and garlic aoli with a naughty side of garlic bread. 😁

So tonight's gourmet meal was bought to you by Missy Moo the high energy super cuddly non stop growing rednose pitty. Beware if you come over she will attack you with furbombs and snuggles lol. This week she is enjoying lean mince, brown rice, brocoli, cauliflower, carrots and dog biscuits twice daily with the odd treat πŸ˜‹

Healthy lifestyles aren't just for us humans but also our pets. We need to make sure our furbabies are also living a physically and emotionally healthy lifestyle so it is important to provide them with exercise, play and ofcourse a healthy diet. For my girl she gets brown rice, vegetables and dog biscuits twice a day. Just remember not all foods are good for our pets especially dogs so always check what u can and can't give them. πŸ™‚πŸΆ

Continuing on with the celebration another hearty meal for dinner.. love summer for the weather but also for the bbqs. Tonight bbq chicken wings, potato salad, spinach and brocoli coleslaw salad with garlic bread and well a couple brewskees. Safe to say today has been not been a very clean day of eating and that is ok. It's all about balance after all,

If you suffer from anxiety or depression you may find it hard dealing with the simplest of daily tasks even getting out of bed can be a struggle. I myself suffer from anxiety and do unfortunately have quite severe anxiety attacks not just emotionally but physically that i have veen hospitilised for. I now even get anxiety over having anxiety scared of what the next attack with be like so each day for me is different and that's why it is important to take things as they come and make sure you listen to your body and your mind. If you need rest the rest, if you need to get out then go out. If you need time alone then enjoy that time but remember not to stay trapped in that mindset and become isolated from the world because that in itself can be detrimental to your overall health especially emotionally. Today for me it's having a nice naughty breakfast and chilling in the sun with my fur baby. Something so simple yet so calming and enjoyable. Happy Tuesday everyone 😁

What better way to start the day than with a nice yummy breakfast/ brunch. I shall call it a celebration breakfast for me and my now Fiancee πŸ˜‹ Pancakes with maple syrup, cream and bacon. Not so healthy for the body but definitely healthy for the mind πŸ˜€
