Trevor has officially reached his fundraising goal of $1,700 for the Firefighter Sky Tower Challenge, and he’s incredibly grateful for the amazing support shown toward both his climb and Leukaemia & Blood Cancer NZ.
With his target achieved, Trevor is now proudly backing his son Josh Goldstone, who is also taking on the Sky Tower Challenge and continuing to work toward his own fundraising goal.
If you’d like to support Josh further, please visit firefighterschallenge.org.nz/donate and enter Josh’s name.
Now in its 22nd year, the Firefighter Sky Tower Challenge is an iconic fundraising event where firefighters climb 1,103 steps up Auckland’s Sky Tower wearing full firefighting gear, weighing around 25kg. What began in 2005, raising $17,500, now consistently raises over $1.5 million each year, with more than $16 million raised for blood cancer patients and their families by 2025.
It’s a tough challenge, but one taken on with heart, determination, and a shared goal of helping those affected by blood cancers.
Thank you for your support of these incredible firefighters. 🚒💛
