You don’t develop disease overnight—you eat it, one meal at a time. Every choice you make, whether it’s opting for a sugary drink or a fast food meal, contributes to your long-term health. Disease isn’t just something that happens randomly; it’s the result of the small, daily choices we make. The more you nourish your body with healthy foods, the more you protect yourself from chronic illness.

Eating healthy doesn’t mean deprivation—it means choosing foods that promote energy, vitality, and longevity. Small, consistent changes in your diet can lead to big improvements in your overall health. It’s not about perfection, it’s about progress.

By making better choices today, you set yourself up for a healthier tomorrow. One meal at a time.

There is strong evidence showing a dose-response relationship between meat consumption and bowel cancer risk — meaning the more processed and red meat consumed regularly, the higher the risk.
The World Health Organization has classified processed meat as a known cause of colorectal cancer, and leading organisations like the Cancer Society of New Zealand and Heart Foundation recommend limiting intake for this reason.

This post popped up . This book was my first step to real health. Amazing after all these years to see it still is having a positive influence. ✨️

For 33 years, I’ve had the energy of a teenager.

All because of one simple rule I tried from a book…

The book was “Fit for Life” by Harvey and Marilyn Diamond

The book's big idea?

ONLY eat fruit until noon… Everyday.

The book challenged the readers to try it for 10 days. I almost quit right there.

Then I told myself: You can do anything for 10 days.

So I tried it...

First few days were rough until I hit my rhythm.

Fruit was prepped and ready.

Energy started picking up.

On Day 11, I went back to my old breakfast.

It wrecked me.

I was bloated, sluggish, and just straight up miserable

I went straight back to fruit the next day and never looked back.

33 years later…

I’ve done 50+ marathons, completed the Ultraman, and biked across America

I’ve barely missed 4 days of work in 3 decades (knock on wood).

And all I changed was my breakfast.

I don’t know the science. I just know how I feel.

It’s not a miracle, or a diet plan

It’s just ONLY fruit (or an all natural fruit smoothie) every morning for 33 years.

And it changed my life.

It’s true, humans have been eating meat for hundreds of thousands of years. It’s also true our average life expectancy used to be in our 30s and 40s.

Undeniably, I am a living example of radiant health, age reversal and life in balance.
I learned and became healthy the slow, hard way.

Now I can show you the smart, easy ways. Make powerful small, realistic shifts.

Appealing to what humans did in the past isn’t a strong argument for what’s optimal today. There are plenty of things we used to do that we’ve moved away from because we’ve learned, grown and evolved.

For most of human history, people weren’t eating for optimal health, they were eating for survival. Now we have access to better knowledge, better resources, and the ability to choose what actually supports long-term health, the sustainability of our planet, and most importantly, the fair and ethical treatment of all animals.

Remember, history tells us where we came from, not what’s optimal today , just a little food for thought🌱💪

If you’re curious about making the switch to plant based and need help putting together a plan to reach your fitness goals, this is for you! DM me the word “READY” and I’ll show you how I can help 🤜🤛
Starting with diet helps shift -
Mental fog (so we make better decisions),
Energy (to function and sleep well),
Discomfort/pain.( by increasing alkalinity)
Self esteem (feel better in yourself)
Its never too late to feel better.
