💫Yin & Restore is a soft place to land for those seeking to release tension and learn to rest deeply.
The class begins with gentle hydrating movements to initiate the release of tension in muscle and connective tissue.
You are then guided into intuitively sequenced yin poses that gently and deeply release tension from our body’s meridians and related organs, connective tissue and fascia.
Poses are mostly on the ground, supported with as as many props as your body needs for the shape to be accessible for you.
The class concludes with one or two Restorative Yoga poses and variations of Yoga Nidra.
Restorative is the cultivation of deep rest. Inner stillness. Calm. In supporting the body with a variety of props, the parasympathetic nervous system is held in a nurturing space of self-regulation.
This is the ideal practice for when you feel overstimulated in a chaotic world. Never before in our human history have we been so far removed from ourselves, living in constant stimulation.
This is a therapeutic yoga practice that offers an antidote to this stress and tension. It is accessible for anyone recovering from injury, for post-natal mums in need of deep restoration, or anyone who is seeking deep embodiment of peace.
This class is suitable for every body. You are welcome as you are.
