Kia ora tatou. Cancer Society's 'Relay for Life' is coming back to Tauranga for the first time in a long time. We are looking for Kaimirimiri and Massage Therapists to volunteer their time and join us in the Massage tent. Would only be few 3-4 hours, snacks are provided!

Students are welcome, as this is an awesome opportunity to get some community experience under your belt. There will be Senior Therapists there to supervise/answer questions and learn off of.

If this sounds like a kaupapa or something that aligns with you, please flick me a message or get in contact, deets below:

Kia ora e te whanau!! 🤗

I've been a little quiet on here lately and have been wanting to jump on and give a quick update for awhile, so here I am :)

I had an amazing time-off over the Xmas/New Year period. I got a good rest while still being able to get those little jobs done at home that get left on the back burner when you have little tamariki😅

I had planned to open up some evening and weekend sessions as of last week, HOWEVER ... that has now changed, I was in a car accident last Tuesday 🤦‍♀️ I was very fortunate to walk/hobble away, though my poor waka was a write-off! My tinana got banged up a bit and I have a Mild Concussion which I am working through with Specialised Physio, but otherwise I am ok.

What does this look like for Miri Mama? 🤔

Please bear with me while I rest and recover. I would say I'll be out of action for a good month, but will let everyone know on here when I have availability 😀

ALSO... Ya girl is dropping back into study with 2 different tohu this year (both fulltime):

-Lvl 6 Remedial Massage @ Toi Ohomai
-Lvl 4 Rongoa Maori @ Te Wananga o Aotearoa

I'm gonna be one busy Mama this year, in saying that, I haven't forgotten you all and I will defo need people to practice and hone my new learned skills on during the year.

Until then, Ngaa mihi mahana 💚

Kia ora whānau. Its that's time of year again so I thought Id pop on and let you know my availability for the rest of the year and leading into next year. I will also be studying next year, so availability will be cut right back to accomodate Mama/study/work/life balance.

Holiday closing dates:
19th Dec till 4th Jan

After that, I will be opening on a as-needed basis. The booking system will go offline as of next year, so if you would like to book, just flick me a message with your preferred date and I'll see where I can fit you in.

I appreciate everyone's tautoko throughout this haerenga of running my own pakihi and as sad as it is to step back from it, I'm where I need to be and it won't be forever 😊🥰

This week I've been out of the Tari and at Te Mana Kuratahi with my mahi Whaioranga. We have a stall setup promoting our services we offer to the rohe, as well as looking after the Kaumatua area. So if youre there at Hakas, stop by the Whaioranga Trust stall and say Kia Ora! We might even have some neat treats to giveaway if you show off your pukana!

I cant wait to see my neph Ray on stage āpōpō with his roopu

Below are some pics for a handful of stalls setup. Theres some neat gears to be had whanau, I'm gonna be broke by the end of the week 😅
