We are Hiring - Community Nurse
Whaioranga Trust is seeking a Nurse to join our team and support whānau through home support assessments and community health checks. This role prioritises equitable outcomes for whānau and ensures that services are delivered in a manner that upholds mana, fosters whanaungatanga, and supports holistic wellbeing.
What you’ll do:
✅ Complete clinical assessments for age-related disability support
✅ Deliver community-based health and wellbeing checks
✅ Provide clinical guidance that supports safe and inclusive practice
What we’re looking for:
💼 NZ Registered Nurse with current APC
💼 2+ years’ experience in community, primary, or aged care
💼Confident using digital health systems (e.g. InterRAI and other CMS systems)
💼 Full NZ driver’s licence
💼Experience working with Māori communities and understanding of tikanga Māori preferred

This week a hapū mama brought her kōtiro along to her session. At the end, I gave her girl a short mirimiri too 💚

Mirimiri isn’t just for us as individuals, it’s for the whole whānau 🌿

- Clinic Hours are Mon to Weds 9am - 2pm (Evening and Weekend sessions available by prior arrangement)
-Services are charged at $1 per minute (min. 30 minute sessions, max. 90mins)
