Morena everyone,

Our team is looking to hire a Registered Nurse for our Occupational Health team located in Mt Maunganui, Tauranga BOP.

The role involves working on company sites or in clinics to conduct health assessments, pre-employment checks, drug screenings, and hearing/lung function assessments.

Ideally, the candidate should have occupational health experience and be trained in drug screening, audiometry, and spirometry screening (we will offer training here).

They should also have updated vaccination certification and competent computer skills.

A valid NZ driver's license is a must.

This is a casual role with excellent remuneration, a great supportive team, and a flexible workplace. A work vehicle is also included for work.

We provide Flu Vaccinations at our Walk in clinic Mount Maunganui or Host a Vaccination day at your Workplace. Our Registered Nurses go out to your workplace and Vaccinate your staff which requires minimal down time because they can return to work straight after their Flu Vaccination.

A Pre-Employment Medical is a valuable tool for employers to use to identify any potential medical issues a person may have, that could cause harm to the person or colleagues they would work with if appointed to the role.

A Pre-Employment Medical is also an opportunity to baseline health assessments for employees who are exposed to hazards e.g., Hearing test baseline for noise exposure and lung function test where employees may have been or may be exposed to fumes, dust, solvents and/or dangerous airborne particles.
