We’re so excited to welcome Kayla to our dispensary team!

Originally from Hamilton, Kayla has spent the past few years in Australia but is now back in NZ — and we couldn’t be happier to have her join us here at Sanders Pharmacy as a Dispensary Technician.

Kayla brings a fantastic variety of skills, loads of enthusiasm, and a cheerful, friendly energy that brightens the whole team. She’s a real dynamo and already such a great fit with our crew.

Daffodil Day 2025

Look at us! We have got our yellow shirts on to support the Cancer Society on their annual daffodil day. As a health provider we see many people in our community affected by cancer and are proud to support such a worthy cause.

We all know someone affected by cancer. Some of us have lost much loved partners or parents. We will remember them today, and hope that the money we raise can help ease the burden for friends and whanau.

Our grateful thanks to one of our lovely customers for the lovely daffodils that we have around the store this week.

Have you noticed a new face behind the dispensary bench? We have been joined two days a week by pharmacist Rebekah (Bex) ☺️
When not doing the hard mahi on your prescription at Sanders, Bex is at Mahoe Med as a practice pharmacist. This dual role has already been super helpful in adding to the quality focus on both teams.

Out of hours, Bex, like some of our other pharmacists, is completing post graduate clinical pharmacy study. She also is a keen reader and home baker, with the occasional jaunt to the gym!

In support of Daffodil Day, 29th August, we're having a colouring in competition. Pop into the store to pick one up for your little people!
Age groups: 0-5, 5-8, 8+
Return the colouring by the end of the 22nd and we'll put them up in store to create a Daffodil display leading into the 29th.

We'll have a random prize draw for each category, as well as a 'best in class' that we judge for each age group. Everyone's in the draw to win something! Winners announced on the 29th of August.

🌟 Welcome to the Team, Kylie & Kaylene! 🌟

We’re thrilled to officially welcome two new faces to our Sanders Pharmacy whānau!

👩‍⚕️ Kaylene joins us fresh from completing her pharmacy technician training in Hamilton — full of energy, curiosity, and a great attitude. She’s hit the ground running and is already making a fantastic impression as she begins her career supporting our blister pack team.

👩‍⚕️ Kylie brings with her a wealth of experience and a calm, competent presence we’re already so grateful for. She’s a pro at keeping things humming behind the scenes and has fitted in seamlessly with our team and customers.

Both Kylie and Kaylene bring something special to Sanders, and we’re so excited to have them on board as part of our busy, brilliant team. Be sure to say hello next time you’re in!
