Hi everyone!

I’m putting together a formal application to Waikato dhb regarding my current job as a rural lactation consultant.

As part of that, some testimonies from past clients and health professionals I have worked with would be really useful.
Some things that could be included would be how you found my care provided to you, if the service was helpful for your breastfeeding journey, how the communication was, collaborative care between yourself and I (if you were the referrer) etc

Meeting tomorrow 11th August 2021. Come along and join us for a great discussion and learn some new information. We will be chatting about the challenges of breastfeeding for Mum and Baby - how to identify issues - technicques and strategies to overcome them - and ways to avoid them in the first place.
We'll look at engorgement, over supply, under supply and mastitis along with many more. This is a meeting for everyone. Look forward to seeing you and your little one tomorrow.

Hi everyone!

Since it’s my birthday, I thought it would be a good time for an exciting announcement 😁

Starting 4th August, I’m joining the Healthy + Well Collective in Hamilton! It’s a group of Health Professionals who are passionate about Health and Wellbeing, with a particular focus on Women’s Health. We all work collaboratively which means that our clients get the best wraparound care, all under one roof.

Within the Collaborative Clinic, we are fortunate enough to share our space with Pelvic Health and Women’s Physiotherapists, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists, a Clinical Nutritionist, Midwives, Pilates Instructor, Clinical Psychologists and Counsellors, Occupational Therapists, Massage Therapists, Feldenkrais Practitioners and now me, a Lactation Consultant!

I will be able to see anyone wanting a private Lactation Consultation in Hamilton and Waikato region.

Hi everyone! It’s been bought to my attention that I’m not receiving referrals due to the Waikato DHB cyber attack 😞 i have also been unable to access any of my notes so I haven’t been able to do my usual follow up care, but I am trying my best with this!

UPDATE: this will now be a coffee group session. Our amazing group Mums will host a meet and greet. There will be LLL leaflets and the library available and a friendly face to have a chat with. Our leaders can’t attend due to illness and travel, apologies.
Tomorrow Wed 12th 10.00am till 12.00pm. Come along and join us. Supportive friendly atmosphere where we share and celebrate all things breastfeeding. Look forward to seeing you and your little ones on Wed. Please bring snacks for yourself and your toddlers.
