We know the pressures on our people are complex, and it takes a strong, culturally grounded strategy to protect those we love most, including our beautiful Kaumātua.

In this powerful video, our amazing kaimahi Paula shares why the Te Ao Māori lens is the most essential tool we have. She talks about the prevention and support strategies gained through continued study in the Matatini Ora Diploma, focused on ensuring our older generations are not taken advantage of and that whānau are equipped to support each other.

At Raukura Hauora o Tainui, we are building a supportive future, and it starts with this specialized knowledge. Watch as Paula talks about strengthening our whole community.

When You Miss Out, You Just Create Your Own! 💖 Our Raukura Hapori team knows how much our Kaumātua look forward to connecting and celebrating. So, when some of our whānau missed out on registrations for a big event, our team didn't hesitate—they went and created their very own Raukura Kaumātua Games Day!

This day was filled with friendly competition, shared kai, and genuine manaakitanga—a space where our elders could simply relax, connect, and have fun. Thank you to all the beautiful souls who came out and made it so special!
