Our kaimahi are making waves! 🙌 Te Rukutia Tongaawhikau and Aeireira Walker recently stood up at Te Tīratū IMPB to share what true kotahitanga looks like in practice. By co-locating and sharing knowledge with Waiariki Whānau Services, they’ve successfully uplifted local hapori and gang whānau.

Real, lasting change takes time, trust, and sustained investment—not fragmented responses. 💯

On top of this, our amazing leaders Wynell Iraia and Georgina King are stepping up to contribute to crucial new research aimed at improving equity for whaanau across Rāhui Pōkeka and Ngāruawāhia.
Proud of the team for leading with aroha and vision! 🧡

Our Hapori Tuarima team—Kohu Tongaawhikau (Pou Ārahi Hapori) and Upokoina Teao (Pou Hāpai)—recently paid a visit to the NZMA Trades campus.

Beyond their excellent practical training and industry-focused facilities, we are so inspired by NZMA’s dedication to their students outside the classroom. They have been proactive in partnering with Raukura for pastoral care and support, showing a genuine commitment to creating a safe, healthy environment for their learners.

Proud to wrap around our community and support the next generation of tradespeople! 🔨❤️

What happens when our community comes together with a shared purpose? Absolute magic! ✨

Local providers joined right in alongside our rangatahi, creating an environment built on trust, inclusion, and pure energy. The result? Stronger partnerships, a better understanding of available support services, and—most importantly—engaged and inspired youth!

A huge mihi to all the providers and community members who attended and contributed. Your commitment made the day a massive success. Let's keep working together to support our rangatahi! ⚡️

Last month, CEO Sarina Ponga, Ioana Marsters, Te Rukutia Tongaawhikau, and Whaea Kohu Tongaawhikau recently attended WICC 2026 to connect with global Indigenous leaders on improving cancer outcomes.

We know many of our whaanau impactfully face cancer too late. This conference provided our team with powerful insights into Indigenous-led hospice care, helping us plan how Raukura Hauora o Tainui can step up to better support and wrap around our communities in the future. 🌿❤️
