HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU HAVE A TREATMENT?

One of the most common questions we hear is
“How often should I have an enzyme treatment?”

The answer depends on what stage your skin is in.

At SKN we guide our clients through four treatment phases:

Skin Revision Phase
Treatments every 7–10 days
When we are actively correcting concerns such as acne, pigmentation, ageing or barrier damage. Treatments are booked close together to stimulate change and adapt the program to your skin’s response.

Progression Phase
Treatments every 2–3 weeks
As the skin strengthens and improves, treatments can be spaced slightly further apart while still progressing results. Home care becomes essential in supporting the skin between visits.

Maintenance Phase
Treatments every 4–6 weeks
Once concerns are under control, professional treatments help maintain healthy skin function and prevent regression.

Skin Fitness Phase
Treatments every 6–12 weeks
For skin that is balanced, strong and functioning well. Treatments keep the skin performing at its best while maintaining long-term results.

Seasonal Skin Check-Ins
Treatments every 3 months
Perfect for clients who rely mainly on home care but still want professional guidance, seasonal adjustments, and a deep skin reset.

I need your help.

Recently I’ve been approached by several companies offering AI messaging systems for clinics. These systems provide things like instant replies, automated reminders and chat bots.

As many of you know, we briefly trialled one service that sent automatic reminders if you forgot to rebook after your appointment. While we worked through some technical issues with the provider, we ultimately decided not to continue with it.

My personal belief has always been that the beauty industry is built on human connection and genuine care, and I never want technology to replace that experience.

But I would really value your opinion.

What do you prefer?
