🎨✨ What’s Happening at Artsider & The Supported Life Style Hauraki Trust ✨🎨

We’ve got an exciting few weeks of creativity coming up in the studio!

📅 Program Highlights (April–May)

• 🌾 Disco Harvest Decor – finishing our harvest-themed decorations this week

• 🌺 Poppies in Watercolour & Paper – next week we’ll be painting and crafting beautiful poppies

• 💃🎸 Rock & Roll Art – getting ready for our cafe night with some rock and roll–inspired creations

• 💐 Mother’s Day Cards & Gifts – handmade cards and presents, including a special acrylic flower workshop

• 🍂 Autumn Gel Prints – exploring colours and textures of autumn

• 💧🎨 Watercolour Week – tutorials and creative sessions in the studio and at the cafe (weather permitting)

• 🍃📜 Papermaking Workshop – making our own paper with dried leaves and flowers

🌟 Jack’s Solo Exhibition!

🌟 We’re incredibly proud to celebrate Jack’s solo exhibition opening this Saturday 18 April at 12:30pm at Vessel Gallery. 🖼️🎉

There will be nibbles, drinks, and lots of amazing art. Everyone is welcome – come along to support Jack and celebrate his fantastic achievement with us! 🙌💛

Kaitahi Friyay was awesome! 🥳🍲

Our Life Stylers and staff came together to prep and cook a yummy Boil Up 🥬🍠🥩

Everyone was welcome to koha kai towards our shared meal, and we enjoyed this time together as a community 🤝💚

It was a wonderful occasion where we all left with full puku, broke bread, laughed, and enjoyed one another’s company 🥰

🐣✨ What an AMAZING Easter Celebration! ✨🐣

Thank you to everyone who came together to make it such a special day 💛

It was so lovely spending time as a community – laughing, playing, and celebrating together.

A huge hit with everyone was Lucky our miniature pony 🐴 and let's not forget Winnie!

We also had loads of games, fun, and prizes that kept the smiles going all day 🎉🎈

And a big congratulations to Pete, our lucky winner 🏆 who guessed the exact number of Easter Eggs in the jar! 🥚🍫👏

Hope you all had as much fun as we did.

Grateful for these moments of fun, friendship, and creativity with our amazing community. 🙏🌈

✨ What a fabulous year 2025 has been! ✨

Kudos to our incredible Life Stylers 👏 who, every single day, remind us what truly matters: people, values, morals and principles.

They can turn the hardest day into something wonderful just by spending time together 💛.

No one really understands the essence and joy people bring into someone’s life until you’re right there in the middle of it 🤝💫.

A huge mihi 🙏 to our amazing staff who work tirelessly. We come in all shapes and sizes, all make-ups, all cultures 🌏 and sit in many different spaces.

💖 And then there’s the whānau… 💖 Behind every door 🚪 is a world of laughter and love 🤪 – the whānau who remain the very essence of their joy, love and prosperity. 🥰✨

To the community who have opened doors, created opportunities, built relationships and added that extra bit of magic and essence to their lives 🌈🤝 thank you for being part of our story, our village, But the world at The Supported Life Style Hauraki Trust wouldn’t keep turning if it wasn’t for EVERYONE doing what they do best – caring for people. The people, the people, the people. ❤️👥❤️

We’ve gathered a collection of memories – many great and wonderful 🌟 – and we’ve also faced some heartfelt losses within the Trust 🕊️.

Here’s to the whānau, the neighbours, the cuppa buddies and the cheerleaders the ones who show up, stick around and make life that much richer. ☕💬💞☕😂, we’ve stood together.
