In a heartwarming reunion, David and his brother Les from Perth come together to celebrate a significant milestone—David’s 70th birthday.

The two brothers share a beautiful smile that truly encapsulates the essence of brotherhood.

This celebration not only marks the passing of time but also reinforces the bond they share, filled with memories, laughter, and love.

It’s a joyous occasion where family ties are celebrated, and the warmth of their relationship shines brightly.

We are thrilled to extend a warm welcome to our new team members: Sarah, George, and Jazz! As part of their orientation, we explored our Community Spaces, where we highlighted the diverse talents within our staff.

We were especially privileged to have George showcase his skills during this time, who is a singer-songwriter originally from the UK.

Let’s make this journey together memorable and enriching! Welcome aboard!

I🌟 It has been an incredible privilege to host two remarkable students from Thames High School, Eikura and Akeira! 🌟

Both have expressed a deep passion for their future careers in Paramedicine and Midwifery.

Over the past 10 weeks, they have immersed themselves in the vibrant life at the Supported Life Style Hauraki Trust, gaining invaluable experiences while supporting our Life Stylers.

Their enthusiasm and dedication have not only enriched their own journey but also inspired those around them.

They’ve forged connections that many could only dream of, and we couldn’t be prouder of how they’ve represented Thames High School!

We eagerly await the next cohort of students to join us on this amazing journey. Here’s to more inspiring experiences ahead! 💪✨

Our own winners at the Thames Rugby and Netball Club prize-giving held recently. Paul Rolton is a lifelong member who volunteers his time during the rugby season, arriving early to lend a hand. Paul speaks fondly and is very passionate about Thames Rugby. As a result, he was awarded the trophy for "Personality of the Year." Here he is with the Club's Ambassador, our very own Moe Williams. Then there's the quiet achiever Mux Kiripatea, who has her hands in many baskets, always aiming to help others thrive. Netball is her passion, and her humility kept her quiet about her achievement. Mux, who plays for the Hawks Netball Team, was awarded the trophy for "Most Conscientious." Well done on your achievements!

Roll Call is a forum where the Life Stylers get to share and celebrate those meaningful things that have happened over the month. And here is a snippet for the month of July facilitated by Robert and Mardi.

Jack - Has been attending Art Classes in the Community and is working on pieces for his very own Exhibition. He will also display his art at the next Launch event in Hamilton.
Dean introduced his friend "Fishhead" and his masterpiece, which looks like his mate. Dean was given this by his sister Donna, who celebrated his birthday in Taranaki. When asked how old he turned, he said "20" with a little chuckle lol. He talked about his cat, which likes to chase the laser light. On his trip back to Taranaki, Dean had a ride in a Mini that was really FAST.
Lana - Created a Dream Catcher at the latest "Magic Monday" to hang in her room.
Paul - Has been a longstanding Life Member at the Thames Rugby and Netball Club. He stood proudly and showed the cup he was awarded at the TRNC prizegiving for "Personality of the Year".
James - Spoke fondly of his whānau.
Avril - Enjoys attending OriginalWorx and welcomed others to visit this space. Unfortunately Peter is away but John is in the workshop until her returns.
David B - Advised he has shifted to 900 and is enjoying his new space.
David E - Is celebrating his 70th birthday next month and his brother Les is coming across from Australia.
Arty - Shared a joke "what happens to undertakers when they go to the cemetery........they loose the plot".
Sunny - Loves to knit and is making phone holders.
Simon - A long-time member at the Workingmans, enjoyed listening to the band.
Jack and Sunny - Displayed their medals they won at the Basketball tournament they played over the weekend. The team came first, winning all 3 games.
